Blue Adventure: Snorkeling, Mangroves, and a Quiet Beach in Barú

If you dream of a day in the Caribbean where turquoise waters, respect for nature and comfort come together, this adventure is designed for you. We leave the crowded beaches behind to take you on an authentic and relaxed experience on the Baru Peninsula.

This is what your adventure will be like:

• Heading to paradise: We'll start the day early (between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.) by picking you up at your hotel in air-conditioned transportation to head towards Barú Island, crossing the historic Canal del Dique.

• Reefs and snorkeling: Once in Barú, we'll board a speedboat to venture into crystal-clear waters. We'll put on our masks and make a snorkel stop to marvel at the local marine life. We provide the gear!

• Mangroves and Wildlife: We'll navigate the mystical mangrove tunnels, a vital ecosystem. Here we'll have the opportunity to respectfully observe raccoons in their natural habitat. At Ecotur, we promote ethical tourism: we observe with respect, without touching and without feeding the wildlife with processed food.

• Relaxation at the Beach Club: We'll arrive by boat at Luna del Mar Beach (3 Banderas) in the Playa Tranquila area. We'll greet you with a refreshing welcome cocktail so you can start disconnecting from the world.

• Typical Lunch and Relaxation: You will enjoy an exquisite typical Cartagena lunch (fried fish or the option of your choice, rice with coconut, and patacones) by the sea. You'll have full access to the beach club facilities, lounge chairs, and sun beds with crossover music in the background.

• Drop-off: After a day full of sun, sea, and nature, we will begin the return trip by land to be back in Cartagena around 3:00 PM.

• Timetable: Departure between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. Return between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM.
