What you can expect

  • The amazing half day tour discovering Beng Mealea from Siem Reap gives you a great opportunity to explore the temple of Beng Mealea. Joining in this tour, you will definitely have unforgettable experiences, admire these magnificent views as well as learn more about the unique architecture of temples in Cambodia.

You will be picked up at your hotel at 8.a.m for the morning tour and 1.30pm for the afternoon tour and join in an amazing tour discovering Beng Mealea from Siem Reap.

Joining in this amazing tour, you will have a chance to explore more the Beng Mealea, which is a Hindu temple built in Angkor times, a magnificent sight to preserve, situated approximately 70km northeast of Siem Reap as well as one of the most excellent temples at Angkor.

Located quietly in the jungle, this large temple of Beng Melea which is surrounded with tall trees and vines reminds you of the well-known animation Castle in the Sky.

This 900 years old is one of the Khmer Empire’s largest temples, but unlike Angkor Wat, it is mostly unrestored. The jungle is devouring the ruins, tree roots and twisted vines taking over what were once its towers, courtyards, and chambers.

You will feel like explorers discovering a lost world as you clamber and crawl over piles of moss-covered rubble and sprawling roots, occasionally coming across an intricate carving of Hindu or Buddhist motifs in the sandstone blocks, gems amongst the debris.

Finally, you will go back to your hotel at 12.00pm or 5.30pm
