The downside is that it was raining and, we were told there, that’s usual. There should be more warnings about that when people buy the tour. Also, staff struggled to manage the logistics (luggage, customs, people with different itineraries); I expected more efficiency

Too complicated and messy as a trip with lots of queueing on and off the four buses and three boats and all the guides and officials were really sharp and bossy about how to queue and what to do, lit took me back to long forgotten memories of school trips. The two customs posts were especially tedious. The visit to the Petrohue falls was too expensive for the twenty minutes you get there. The guides spent the whole time on the bus and boat before lunch selling their activities during the three hour lunch break at Peulla. Peulla has one hotel for lunch which had reasonably good service but poor food. They don't give diners the wifi code which seems petty. The 4x4 bus from Peulla on the rough road to the Argentinian frontier is really noisy, so much so it drowned out everything the guide said about the national park. Lastly be aware that the weather is unpredictable - it was very poor on the Chilean side of the Andes, clouds and rain blocked all the views. all in all too expensive, too many people, too many transfers.
