We travel to Paquimé, one of the most important archaeological sites in northern Mexico, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We begin with a visit to the Museum of Northern Cultures, home to more than 2,000 pieces chronicling the history of this impressive culture. Then, we walk among the remains of the pre-Hispanic city of Paquimé, famous for its earth architecture, hydraulic works, heated housing and even macaw breeding grounds.
