At 12:30 pm, we’ll meet at the intersection of Hongsheng Road and Santa Road. After a short uphill walk, we’ll follow a wild trail into the forest, foraging for seasonal mushrooms (May–October) and discovering wild tea trees.You may even gather some leaves to make your own green or white tea.

After two hours slowly hiking up, we’ll go downhill and return to my home to enjoy famous Yunnan Pu’er tea and rose cakes, accompanied by my white Siamese cat, Dumbledore. I’ll also share the fascinating traditions and wellness wisdom of Chinese tea.

Around 4:30 pm, we’ll visit the local market near Dali Old Town’s North Gate. Local vendors can help identify our mushrooms.We can either sell them or cook at restaurant, paying some processing fees.Outside mushroom season, I’ll introduce my favourite fruit stalls, authentic rice noodle restaurants and local snacks on the way.

We’ll finish around 6:30 pm at a peaceful Japanese-style tea house, enjoying music and a quiet moment before dinner.
