This magical place was formed millions of years ago by tectonic movements and volcanic activity. It lies where the Domeyko Mountain Range, Salt Mountain Range, and Andes meet.

Rainbow Valley owes its name to the many tones visible across its hills, which reflect the rich and varied concentrations of clays, salts, and minerals. The rocks have also been strongly weathered by the area's environmental and climatic conditions.

This expedition also takes you to the historically significant petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas. Through this rock art, the Atacameño people left traces of their culture in a place of great geological importance.
