Our kid and family friendly adventure tour takes place on the grounds of the Maui Dragonfruit Farm, a USDA certified organic farm with incredible ocean and West Maui Mountain views. Your adventure tour includes an integrate farm tour where our knowledgeable guides point out and discuss the many interesting plants grown on the farm. You will also learn about and taste the seasonally available organic fruits grown on the farm: pineapple, banana, sugarcane, papaya and the new “King of Fruits” – Dragon Fruit!
Your aquaball adventure also includes a tropical fruit tasting experience, where you’ll learn how dragon fruit and other tropical fruits are grown while enjoying samples of seasonal organic produce. Fruits you may see on the farm include dragon fruit, pineapple, banana, coconut, soursop, papaya, pomegranate, and cacao. Dragon fruit season typically runs from July through November, while coconuts are generally available year round. You’ll also learn how to open a coconut and taste fresh coconut water. Throughout the tour, your guide shares insights into the farm’s history, organic farming practices, and the health benefits of these tropical fruits.
The aquaball activity is perfect for all ages—kids, young adults, and mature adults. Each tour includes two aquaball rides, and children as young as 5 years old can participate. Guests who prefer not to ride may walk along the course, take photos, and watch friends and family; walk along guests enjoy a discounted fruit tasting fee.
The farm offers some of the best ocean and mountain views on Maui, including panoramic views of Lana‘i, Kaho‘olawe, and Moloka‘i.
