Discover the traditional winemaking process and the Alsace region in a family winery dating back to 1778. Enjoy a tour of the winery, which is now in organic production, followed by a wine-tasting and lunch of Alsatian specialties. Your experienced guide will take you into the winery, which dates back to 1850, where you'll discover the traditional Alsatian winemaking process still used in the cellar today and discover our barrel made for the Universal Exhibition of 1900.. Every step of the process will be explained, from grape to bottle. Afterwards, you'll be able to taste the results !
In 2020 following the organic conversion of my entire estate, we renovated our cellar and use now of this new space to offer our visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic experience in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels : unique in France… It is a film about my rather rich personal history, and about my work philosophy. The whole video is projected in the cellar, on century-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on some sequences) with sound work, throwing the audience in total immersion in my story.
To finish, you'll then have lunch in our new 100% immersive space. You'll discoverAlsatian specialties, including a delicious soup and Alsatian meat pie. To finish, you'll be served two Alsatian specialties: a slice of kougelhopf and a Bibeleskaes (creamy Alsatian fromage blanc). You finish with the lunch a coffee/tea. A wine will accompany each dish. Lounge music and images projected on the walls will transport you into our world, where wine and tourism are intimately linked…
Coffee will round off your visit to the cellars, but bottles will be available for purchase as a souvenir of your visit to the Alsace cellars.
