What you can expect

Escape the everyday and immerse yourself in the unforgettable landscapes of Australia’s Red Centre on this small-group, three-day adventure. Exploring three of the region’s most iconic natural landmarks—Uluru, Kings Canyon, and Kata Tjuta—this journey blends breathtaking scenery, cultural discovery, and true outback experiences into one remarkable tour.

Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its geological significance, natural beauty, and deep cultural importance. Throughout the tour, your guide will share insights into the ancient stories, traditions, and spiritual connections of the Anangu people, bringing the landscape to life through storytelling and interpretation.

Accommodation offers an authentic outback experience, with the choice of comfortable safari tents or traditional swags under the open desert sky. Evenings are spent at remote campsites, enjoying meals together, sharing stories, and gazing up at some of the clearest night skies in the world. Guests take part in the experience by assisting with simple tasks such as meal preparation, creating a relaxed and social group atmosphere.

Beginning in Alice Springs or Yulara, the journey travels through vast desert landscapes to Uluru. Here, explore the base of this iconic monolith on guided walks that reveal sacred sites, ancient rock art, and important cultural stories. Witness the changing colours of Uluru at sunset, a truly memorable highlight of the Red Centre.

The adventure continues to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), where towering domes rise dramatically from the desert floor. Walk through gorges and valleys that showcase the area’s unique geology and spiritual significance before travelling on to the Kings Canyon region. Another outback sunset and campfire evening await.

On the final day, discover the dramatic beauty of Kings Canyon, with its sheer sandstone walls, hidden garden valleys, and sweeping views across Watarrka National Park. After exploring the canyon, the tour concludes with a return to either Alice Springs or Yulara, depending on your chosen drop-off location.

This immersive journey offers far more than sightseeing—it’s a chance to connect with Australia’s ancient landscapes, cultures, and the timeless spirit of the outback.
