Bus stop Marisletta, go back towards the city and down the first road to the right to our farm. There is a sign "Kattehotell" by the road. Follow the road down to the biggest red barn on the left side.

Arctic Horseback Riding on Kvaløya

Experience the Arctic landscape on a guided horseback riding tour on Kvaløya, just 18 minutes from Tromsø Airport. Suitable for all levels, this tour is perfect whether you’re a first-time rider or experienced.

Meet your guide at the farm and get introduced to your horse before heading out. Ride one of our traditional Norwegian breeds, including the Lyngen horse, Fjord horse, or Dølahorse—known for their calm temperament and reliability.

Enjoy a scenic ride where mountains meet the sea. Depending on the tide, you’ll ride along the shoreline or on the beach, offering a unique Arctic experience in both summer and winter.

Safety and animal welfare are very important to us. Tours may be canceled in case of severe weather conditions, and a full refund will be provided if this happens.

Getting here is easy: take bus SVIPPER no. 420 (weekdays) to Marisletta, followed by a 3-minute walk. Free parking is available on-site.
