Activity itinerary

Yukata is a light, casual version of the kimono, traditionally worn in summer or after bathing, and loved in Japan for its comfort and elegance. In this private experience, you will be welcomed with genuine Japanese hospitality and guided step by step by a friendly bilingual host. Expect not only careful instruction but also plenty of lighthearted conversation and laughter along the way. You’ll design and create a yukata that is truly one-of-a-kind—yours to take home and wear outdoors, at home, after a bath, or even at a friend’s party. There’s no stress involved: you won’t need to undress or deal with numbers for measurements. Instead, you’ll experience the traditional Japanese way of measuring with thread, making this activity suitable for people of any height or size. A wide variety of fabrics and patterns are available to choose from, allowing you to express your personal taste. As a special gift, you’ll also receive an obi (the belt used to tie the yukata). Finally, enjoy taking cute commemorative photos in Asakusa while wearing the yukata you made yourself—a memory to treasure and an experience that connects you deeply with Japanese culture.
