For a wine tasting we will head to our Family Winery - Nikoladze WineHouse , located 30 minutes drive from Kutaisi. We will taste 5 kinds of wine, 2 kinds of Chacha (local vodka): one refined, and another pure as distilled from grapes.

We will introduce you to winemaking technology, process of wine fermentation and different tools used in producing the Sacred drink of Georgians. As a snack, different kinds of cheese with Georgian bread or homemade khachapuri could be offered.

“Everything started with our grandfather making wine in an open winery under the shadow of a huge walnut tree. From the very childhood I used to learn about primitive tools for cleaning qvevry , grape pressing and wine fermentation.
Reaching my forties, I realized that it's time to return to the point, where everything started . And I installed my first Qvevri.”
