What you can expect

Harlem, New York is the natural home and birthplace of jazz, attracting thousands of visitors from all over the world. They come to seek out the clubs and find performers who are masters of the soulful sound the New York neighborhood is famed for.

On this 3.5-hour evening tour, a jazz aficionado guide will lead you on a lovely stroll from 125th Street, along Adam Clayton Boulevard, and up to St. Nicholas Historical District. See the famous townhouses of Striver's Row en route to Astor Row Historical District. Along the way, you will see historical churches and famous nightclubs of the past, as well as glimpse some of the most beautiful homes that Harlem has to offer.

End in the heart of Harlem with a live jazz concert. When the lights go down the immortal music of Duke Ellington, Lena Horne, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Miles Davis (to name just a few) can still be heard providing the district with its unique rhythm. Food and drinks are available for purchase at the jazz venue, so come hungry for history, jazz, and some great soul food!
