Discover the High Mountain Road in an unforgettable tour from Mendoza. We leave early on National Route 7, with a first stop at Potrerillos Dam, surrounded by imposing Andean landscapes. Then, we enter Uspallata, a historic mountain village, where we have breakfast before continuing along a road surrounded by spectacular scenery.
We cross Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas and Los Penitentes until we reach Puente del Inca, a natural wonder declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Further on, we stop at the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua, the highest mountain in America.
The tour culminates at Las Cuevas, on the border with Chile, where we enjoy lunch at a mountain restaurant. In snow season, the itinerary may vary according to weather conditions and access regulations, with the possibility of having lunch in Uspallata if Las Cuevas cannot be reached.
