Your adventure begins at River Valley Lodge, where our team will get you set up with a comfortable helmet and match you with the perfect e-bike for your ride. Before you head out, you'll receive a delicious packed lunch prepared fresh from the Lodge kitchen to enjoy along the way. We'll then transport you 5 km up the road to your starting point, where the real fun begins! The main Laughing Moa route covers 42 km and typically takes 2-3 hours of riding time. Of course, you'll want to factor in extra time for a leisurely lunch stop and plenty of photo opportunities to capture those stunning views. Feeling adventurous? You can add an optional 12 km round-trip detour to the spectacular Mokai Bridge – it's well worth the extra pedaling! Your journey comes full circle as you ride back to River Valley Lodge, where you started. It's the perfect way to experience the area's beauty while enjoying the ease and excitement of e-biking!
