This experience combines navigation and trekking to discover the great Vespignani Glacier, in the Lago del Desierto provincial reserve.

The tour begins with passenger pick-up from your hotel in El Calafate, followed by the scenic drive to El Chaltén. We then embark on a 30-minute boat ride on Lake of the Desert, enjoying views of the Huemul and Crestón Glaciers.

We disembark near Vespignani Glacier, where you can choose from three hiking trails of varying difficulty levels:

• The Red Trail, with a 200-meter elevation gain and a 2 km route, takes you on a one-hour hike to the base of the impressive Vespignani Glacier, offering spectacular views of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy.
• The Yellow Trail, with a 50-meter elevation gain over 1 km, leads to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Vespignani Glacier.
• The Green Trail is a flat, interpretive trail through the coastal and forested areas, perfect for a leisurely walk or complementing the other hikes.

Afterward, we will provide a light snack before re-boarding the boat and returning to Punta Sur Dock, where transportation back to El Chaltén will be waiting.
