Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel at the time of your choice and board a bus to begin a three-and-a-half-hour panoramic tour of Barranquilla’s main tourist attractions.
We will explore the El Prado neighborhood, famous for its elegant neoclassical-style houses. We will learn about the history of this district, the first area of the city where modern urban planning principles were applied. Very close by is the Amira de la Rosa Theater.
We will pass through Customs Square (Plaza de la Aduana) and head to Barranquilla’s historic center, where we will see the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Caribbean Museum. The latter is the main building of the Caribbean Cultural Park, and its construction was a major milestone for Colombians. We will discover why.
We will continue the panoramic tour at the Cumbiódromo, one of the most iconic spots in the city. This is where the world-famous Barranquilla Carnival takes place. There, we will reveal all the traditions associated with this important celebration.
We will end the tour by passing through the city’s most important shopping centers and then return you to your hotel.
