You will watch a 4D movie to get a better understanding of Beijing's past, presence and future. Also, there are many exhibitions with different themes and a giant map of Beiing.

B9. Liulichang Culture Street is a street full of shops selling antiques and curios, with a series of traditional Chinese stone houses. In the old days, it was the place for making glazed tiles of the Forbidden City. You will watch some of the artisians doing their artwork like writing, carving, snuff bottle inside painting and more.

Beijing Capital Museum is one of the biggest and most modern art museums in China; you will watch a 12 minutes documentary revealing how Beijing was chosen as the capital during the Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Also, you will see some exhibitions with different themes like paingting, calligraphy, Stationaries, Jade, Buddha Statues and more.

B11. Dingling Tomb is the only imperial tomb that has been officially excavated by the Chinese goverment. It is the tomb for the most notorious Ming Emperor Wanli who is generally regarded as the main reason of downfall of Ming. You will see the 27 meters deep underground palace and artifacts unearthed from Dingling tomb.

B12. Formal name should be the Sacred Way of Ming Tombs. It is a road with 36 beautifully carved human and animal figures served as guardians for the emperor’s afterlife. Also, it represents the journey from the secular world to the spiritual world and leads to the 13 Ming tombs. The total length of the Sacred Way is 7 kilometers and you will walk the 1 kilometer part with Stone Animals and some other iconic buildings.

C1. Temple of Heaven is the place where the Ming and Qing emperors performed their ritual ceremonies. Besides the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest, Echo Wall and Circular Mould of Altar which are the main buildings in the Temple of Heaven; you will also watch the local people doing excerise, playing shuttlelock and dancing in the park.

C2. Also called Bairong World Trade Mall, it is the largest whole sale market in northern China. With a business floor space of 400,000 square meters and over 100,000 kinds of products, it is one of the most popular places for the locals to do shopping.

You will see some buildings with the mixture of Han and Tibetan style and the largest wooden Buddha statue in China. It is a good place to know something about Tibetan Buddhism which is also called lamaism in China.

C7. Yandaixie Street is one of the oldest streets in Beijing which is named after a store selling giant smoking pipes in the Qing dyansty. Today it is a popular palce with locals and tourists full of shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars, in reconstructed Ming and Qing dynasty era buildings.

C8. Also known as Panjiayuan Ghost Market, it is the largest, cheapest and most popular antique market in Asia. It offers a huge assortment of antiques and oddities, best place to find cheap souvenirs on weekends.

C9. Hongqiao Pearl Market is a major knock-off market in Beijing. It is also a plce to make serious purchase of quality pearl or jade in some boutique stores on the higher floor. There is a platform on the 5th floor, where you could overlook the Temple of Heaven.

C10. Nanluoguxiang is one of the oldest Hutongs in Beijing with a history of over 740 years. Now it s a popular shopping place and snack street in Beijing, especially with youngsters. On either side of the street, it is the real life of local people similar to those hundreds of years ago.

C11. 798 Art District is an art zone built based on an eletronic factory in 1950's. Nowadays, it is a popular place for travelers and locals to walk around with many art galleries, exhibitions, shops and cafes.
