Clean and nicely run. very convenient to the Zürich train station and lots of shopping dining options around there. It is located in a convenient but busy area in Zürich lots of street noise if you leave the windows open, we had a very nice stay.

I’m a retired man from California and I have stayed here for 6 nights. I was very satisfied for staying here. Room is big enough with sizable bathroom. It’s very clean and no any unpleasant smells. Accessories are newly installed and no any trouble when using. Hotel is well located in old town of Zurich. It’s close to many good restaurants and shopping, and transportation. Staff are very friendly and helpful, I would be happy staying here again if I could find chance to re-visit Zurich.

Convenient location with about 7 mins walk from the train station and easy walk to shops and restaurants in the Zurich Old Town. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The bed was very comfortable which gave me a very good rest after long travels.

This place is pretty cute. They have been renovating the colors are nice and the charm is there. Our room overlooked the river, the street, and the cute cobblestone street area to shop, eat and walk around. It’s a nice safe area. I couldn’t say it’s a quiet place but that’s not the hotels fault. It’s close to a lot of eating and bars people come out late and stay out late. Laughing and enjoying themselves. We did need to pull the shutters down to block out all the fun. The room is small, bathroom super small I suggest they redo the doors and turn them into sliding barn looking doors to save space. It’s clean and cared for. You’re within miles to everything. It’s super close to the train station which we really appreciated. The bed was a little hard for us, but all the linens good. The staff was awesome. We recommend this place. They also offer breakfast for a fee. Stay here and enjoy!

It was fine and will be better. Was construction going on during my stay that caused some of inconvenience, such as having to use the back door for one of the days. Staff was very helpful.

My room was quiet on top floor,but my friends’s room on 1St floor was noisy. I’m ok with stairs but there are a stairs to enter properly & then lift for rooms. We thought it was good value for money & staff efficient, rooms clean. Near old town & station & felt very safe area

We stayed for two nights. Walkable from Zurich HB. Very accessible to city transport. The room was good. Although they do not provide kettle. Beds were good. Washroom were up to date. Limited and repeating breakfast options but it was good. Overall, the experience was great.

Repeat customer! love the location: 8 minutes from train station which itself has a 7 minute train to airport. Very good breakfast. There is also a COOP across the bridge 2 minutes walk.

Rooms are shown as "non-smoking" when we checked in our room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The front desk was very helpful and moved us to another room (which was not yet ready, so we had to store our luggage a second time.) The second room was better but the bathroom still smelled of smoke. The first two floors were being renovated when we stayed in March 2024; I was not sure if the rooms we had been given were already renovated or not. They were both in very nice shape, except of course for the smoke.

Rally like the hotel. The room are simple, but very clean and large (for Zurich). Breakfast was good. Internet was good. They were 2 English Channel (CNN and BBC) on the TV. The hotel is 11 minutes walk (with luggages) to the train station counter. It is also very nicely located in the middle of the old town. Will come back.

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Love the location and now welcomed the renovated room. It was really time for it. The room still smelled of the paint though. What I dont like its the price for a 2 star hotel . It used to be much more affordable, I could spend 2-3 nights, now only one

Ok for the price and proximity to train station
Overall I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the train station and ok price compared to other hotels around; in that sense it corresponded to my expectations. The room and bed were comfortable, and the desk was useful to sit down with my laptop. On the negative side, the shower's water pressure could be better and the temperature of the water fluctuated a bit. I needed to leave very early and the breakfast starting at 6:30 during the week was something I was looking forward; however, the breakfast room opened with 10min delay and important things like juice and break took even longer, which made me having to rush a bit.

I have stayed at Limmathof on my stay-over on my way to my last three ski trips in St, Anton, Austria. Accommodations have always been very fine. The closeness to the rail station for a short walk is very nice as well as the availability of luggage storage after check-out to allow for sight-seeing.
