Everything was great! The only thing that was a problem was the noise outside the property. Not much villa mercedes can do with the the noisy streets outside, but if ur looking for quietute, not the place currently

Staff are wonderful. Location is easy to get anywhere by walking, or a quick taxi or bus ride. Small boutique hotel, with a lovely pool area. We appreciated having the ability to cook our own meals, when we wanted to.

I have always come to Villas Mercedes for over 3 years now. It has been my 5th time in this hotel. The price is right and it’s strategically located near beaches and central. It’s not a 5 star hotel but for the location, cleanliness and good staff management it’s worth more the price. Unfortunately after my 3 years of loyalty they have raised there prices enough to move me to another hotel much closer to the beach. From USA $21 to $32 in a few years it tempted me to move to Hotel Sotelo and Villas La Medera for a few dollars more. The catch for less than $8 more I at least gained a view of the surf and the city. Never the less I still recommend Villas Mercedes. But for a few $ more why not splurge a little if it’s within your striking distance.

GOOD LOCATION TO CENTRO AND TAXIS. KITCHEN IN ROOM-GREAT HELP. THE RECEIVING MALE RECEPTIONIST WAS ALMOST RUDE----QUESTIONED IF I HAD A RESERVATION...FINALLY FOUND IT.....BUT THE HOTEL WAS A VERY USEFUL STAY AND HELPED ME. SHORT WALK TO BAY. QUITE GOOD VALUE...BALCONY OVERLOOKING POOL.

Nothing unique in this place. Looks rundown basic room (no fridge), food isn't that good and too expensive. I will not stay in this place again the all exclusive is not with it. This is the worse all exclusive hotel I have ever stayed.
