One has to take a bus or some form of transportation from the airport to the hotel. But it is a walkable distance to the central bus station. The walk to the center of the town was easy. The breakfast was excellent. The room is clean with AC. Overall, we were happy that we selected this hotel.

My room smelt stale. The odor hit me as soon as I opened the door. I the conceirge if there was another room. He offered me no apologizes but a room with 2 single beds vs my queen. That room smelt also. The conceirge said he didn't understand, "what does it mean that it smells? I asked for air fresheners or spray he said, no. The room continued to smell my entire stay.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast...even the coffee cups were pre-warmed. Nice staff. Only problem was noisy pipes on wall that rattled when trams went past out front.

The hotel is just across the street and about one block away from the train station, which made it so convenient when arriving in Zagreb by train to wheel our bags to the hotel without need of a taxi or Uber. We needed a clean, convenient place to stay to position us to pick up our car rental the next day and this hotel was perfect. It’s very walkable to restaurants and their breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again for an easy, inexpensive stay in Zagreb.

Well placed for Bus Station...this was important for me and convenient for city visits. Excellent breakfast with attentive staff. Comfortable room and facilities. Two older men at Reception were hardly charming!

Advent in Zagreb
The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the centre of the lower town, with the historic district accessible within a 10-minute walk or by tram directly from the hotel. We were here for Advent Zagreb 2023 and enjoyed it very much. The hotel, the city, the museums, Advent, everything was excellent.

Hôtel confortable, très bien situé, distance à pied des quartiers historiques mais aussi de la navette de bus vers l’aéroport ! Chambre en bord de rue un peu bruyante mais Zagreb est une ville qui dort très peu ! Déjeuner décevant, surtout le café quand on sait qu’elle importance cela a pour les habitants de la ville !

This was a perfect hotel for our one night in Zagreb! Close to everything we wanted to see (we walked to it all) and had a great breakfast there. Loved the black out curtains! Also they stored our luggage after check out until we left the city, and that was a huge bonus for us. Overall great experience.

My husband and I only stayed in Hotel Central for 1 night. We chose it mainly because it is a 2 minute walk from the Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor train station (in which we were pulling into from Ljubljana in the evening). Upon arrival, we were greeted by a rude man at the front desk. It seemed as though we were inconveniencing him to check-in. Our room was outdated and very red - red carpets, wall paint, bedspread, etc. No frills, clean, and fine for 1 night though. Apparently there was a free breakfast buffet (which we didn't utilize) but good to know. It is also a few minutes walk from a nice park which we followed to the main streets of Zagreb to explore. Also, it is an easy 15 minute walk to the main bus station to get to the airport if needed.

Hotel is in great distance to a main train station and not far from main bus station too. It's old but it was very clean and breakfast was very good. Good value for the money

This property has a good location. There is a laundry next to it which was convenient. The tram is minutes away there is a shopping center next to it. You can walk to the center or take the tram very easy. The property serves a great breaskfast. I am happy about the price I paid for my stay. It is not a new property but is well kept.

I travelled with my two adult daughters and our room was quite comfortable for the three of us. We enjoyed the variety at breakfast and the convenient location. While some parts of the hotel felt a little outdated, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Reception is friendly and professional. Buffet breakfast is great. It's right across the train station. There's also a wash/dry nearby. Very convenient for travellers.
