    Beautiful house and relaxing spot!
As a group of friends visiting from Berlin, we had a fantastic time in Baker's Cottage! Paul was a gracious host (even when we got lost on the way there) and organised a canoeing trip for us which was really good value. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Would throughly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay among lush green surroundings, in a beautifully restored, very spacious house
We had a truly wonderful stay in this beautiful farmhouse from 1808! The house has been lovingly restored by its super friendly owners and has retained a lot of its original features. Gorgeous wood- and stonework is complimented by the tasteful furniture, which gives the house a distinctive English feel. The atmospheric rooms and bathrooms are very light and clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The windows look out on the sun terrace and large sloping garden with its fruit trees and bee garden. A stroll up the old volcano at the back of the garden provides sweeping views all the way to the snow capped Carpathian mountains! We loved discovering the surroundings with its old towns, beautiful nature, medieval castles and renaissance palaces. We even went swimming at one of the palaces. The hosts know the district very well and provided us with lots of information about what to see during our stay. Paul, who is a skilled bird watcher, pointed out many of the wild and rare bird species to us. We warmly recommend this place to all who enjoy peaceful, green country retreats with the perfect mix of seclusion and interesting excursions.

The best preserved old farmhouse in a tranquil village.
This is probably the best preserved old farmhouse we (4 adults, 2 children) have ever seen in Poland, set in a beautiful valley in a land of extincted volcanoes. In fact, the volcanoes are so closeby, there is one at the top of the garden and a further 2 within the woods a short walk away. There is an even bigger volcano about 5km away (I can't remember the name) which can be reached from the house on feet. We were very happy that we could walk through the garden and meadow to the landscape park behind the house and watch the Karkonosze Mountains in the distance, leaving our cars behind. The children loved it! Paul and Anna were fantastic hojsts and gave us very detailed information about the area, including maps and a folder about what to see and do during our stay. The house itself is very cosy and clean in a rustic style (the reality is much better than the photos) and we particularly loved the piano in the music room downstairs where we would spend our evenings playing music, singing and just relaxing by a wonderful fireplace. We will come back but for much longer next time!

Immer wieder gerne!
