Cozy New Cabin in the Woods

Rediscover the beauty of nature from this charming cabin, off the beaten path and just minutes from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Nestled in the woods, it’s ideal for those looking to explore the great outdoors and spot local wildlife. Secluded, peaceful spot that’s still close enough to local attractions, great restaurants, hiking, biking, fishing and shopping. Sit out on the cozy front porch to sip your coffee or local wines and enjoy the fresh air!
This new construction cabin sits on a 2 acre wooded site. It has a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath and open living space design. The roomy living area has a queen sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, keurig and a fabulous built-in bench style table. The open loft has a twin sized day bed and adorable padded window bench. Linens are provided but no linen service during your stay. Wifi, Dish network and a dvd/blu-ray are available.

Home away from home!
This was our second stay at this property. Our first time was three years ago when it was first offered on VRBO and everything was just as well kept this trip as our first visit. Walking in the front door this time, I even commented that everything still smelled new. It was clean, well stocked and inviting. I enjoyed the feeling of being deep in the woods but close to the town of Wellsboro and all the hiking trails, biking, canoeing, horseback riding and shopping. So many options. We are looking forward to another returned trip to the same location. Thanks Traci!

Quiet, relaxing getaway
If I could award 6 stars for cleanliness and communication I would! Traci was gracious and quick to respond to a minor issue while we were there (battery in smoke detector needed attention). Wooded property is on a dirt road with minimal traffic so it’s very quiet yet it’s close to the Pine Creek trail and Leonard Harrison State Park and only 15 minutes to Wellsboro. Do check out the Yellow Basket (just a couple miles ) for delicious ice cream creations!

One of the nicest places I've stayed
This is a lovely cabin in first rate condition. Spacious, comfortable, uncluttered, and tastefully furnished. Set on a wooded property, private and quiet. Just a few miles from Leonard Harrison state park with its overlook of the Pine Creek Gorge. Also nearby is access to the Pine Creek rail trail and Colton State Park with overlooks and hiking trails. The surrounding country side is lovely so you can enjoy walking on the roads.

Cozy Home Away From Home
We absolutely loved our stay here! Such a beautiful home/property! Everything was extremely clean and maintained very well. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Very peaceful and quiet. We noticed that sometimes when the AC kicked on, it caused a brief power surge, nothing extreme, but it did cause the router and the smoke detector to restart at one point. One minor thing…the provided kitchen and bathroom towels/rags absorbed a lot of water and didn’t really dry well when hung and they started to have an odor towards the end of our stay. Definitely not an inconvenience just something we noticed. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Great communication with host. Power went out soon after we arrived and host was in touch with us regularly. This is a very quiet secluded cabin far off beaten path. Great place to relax after hiking. Not much to do around the area but lots of rest and relaxation

Our Second Stay
We have a family cabin nearby where we'd normally stay. Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. It's quiet, close to everything, and Traci will take care of you, period.

Great Experience and Relaxing Getaway
This property was described perfectly. Beautifully crafted and well maintained. One small hiccup with the coffee maker-be sure to look at the listing as it's a Keurig-my fault I only looked at the main list of amenities and we were prepared for brewing coffee. Great area to get out and hike the PA Grand Canyon, close to Wellsboro for exploring and other areas to explore. Or, you can relax at the property, have a fire in the evening and decompress. My husband and I will return when we need a quick getaway. Highly recommend

This was our third stay at Cozy Cabin and we will be back for more!!! So very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is so very well kept! We saw deer and turkey from the front porch! Plus, there was a daily hummingbird visitor!!

My husband and I went to this area for biking and hiking PA Grand Canyon for my 60th birthday, but it ended up raining and cold for our stay. Instead we explored the area and still had a great time! Place was super clean, which is much appreciated. Thanks for a great vaca!

Traci’s home is just perfect. Out of a dream! It had everything we needed for a getaway with our 3 kids. Unfortunately there was a snowstorm while we were there and my husband became ill, so we didn’t get a chance to see much of the amazing surrounding scenery or charm. Instead we stayed in the cabin for movies, hot chocolate and rest. My only recommendation is another bed or larger bed in the loft area because all 3 kids wanted to sleep up there together as it was so cute and cozy!

Beautiful home nestled on the woods just far enough away from town but atill cloae enough to pop in for a meal. Well kept home super clean. Host is super friendly and accommodating. Mattress nice and firm, we slept like a ton of bricks. Pa grand canyon is just down the road. Really wonderful piece of heaven. We're looking forward to our next stay.

Perfect cozy spot for 2, close to many attractions and town of wellsboro. Gps led us just past the house, but just look out for the numbers and you can't miss it!
