Great Home Base
The cottage was clean, comfortable, central to all the places we were visiting and all systems worked well. Hot water was hot, good water pressure, heating system worked well, TV offered all we wanted, kitchen well equipped. Host was very accessible and prompt on follow through.

Very Happy
This home was exactly as expected. It was small but the gathering areas, living room and kitchen, were surprisingly roomy. The upstairs loft had floor space and we put an air mattress in this area versus using the sofa bed in the main living area. Of course, the ceiling was vaulted/low on both sides due to the cape cod style of home. The single bathroom was small but we made it work. Overall, the home was very clean and well stocked. I would recommend it.

Perfect getaway house in Rhode Island
The house is very conveniently located near numerous hiking destinations in Rhode Island. It is also very close to Providence. Host was very accommodating and addressed all concerns, answered all my questions promptly. The house had everything we needed for a short get away with my wife ro Rhode Island.

Cozy and clean!
The cottage was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable and fully stocked. Gerald was also a great host, providing an easy check-in experience and recommendations for things to do in the area. The cottage has bathroom amenities including shampoo, plenty of towels, body wash, and a hair drywr. The cottage has a kitchen with all the dishes and cooking utensils you could need, and the beds were clean and comfortable The only thing I might recommend is adding more detail about what kind of coffee maker there is- it's a Keurig with plenty of K cups which was wonderful - we had brought along our own coffee supplies thinking it was a drip coffee machine but we didn't even need to bring anything! Great accomodations for the price, would recommend to others!

Cute cottage
The cottage was cute. The furniture in the living room was very uncomfortable. Upstairs sleeping area too small for an adult. The grill only lit up in one little corner. The location was perfect for our vacation but I would not go there again..

Although Kate was a neat person And left the house in decent condition, She was not my idea of a perfect guest. The listing is very clear that the upstairs is a loft area. The grill is literally brand new it's only 2 and a half months old So I'm sure there is nothing wrong with the grill itself. The grill is not a complicated one, howevere I could have be assuming too much because she had a hard time with check in instructions as well. As far as the furniture being uncomfortable. This is the first I've heard of it in about 200 reviews However, that is subjective so I'll look into it. Typical of people That leave these types of reviews we heard nothing during their stay. The bottom line is, I guess you can't, please everyone but as for her not returning its not a loss. I guess this is a lesson to me. That just because people tell you everything's okay, and you don't hear a complaint It does not make them a good guests.

Great Stay!
My family and I had a great stay at this little cottage in Warwick. It was clean, cozy, and served our needs perfectly as we explored Providence, Boston, Plymouth Rock, Point Judith, Sandy Point, and Stonington. This was a perfect hub between RI, MA, and CT. Thank you for a great stay!

The property was clean and everything was as advertized. The house was cozy and close to everything we wanted to visit. We loved the yard and the gas grill worked perfectly. The owner contacted us upon our arrival and checked with us during our stay to be sure everything was going well. We probably will be booking another stay here in 2024. The Ahearns

Excellent Stay
While the outside was not what we thought, the inside was premier. Clean, warm atmosphere, comfy bed, felt like home. It was probably the first nice weekend in RI this spring, so we got to enjoy the backyard, and had some friends come over with their grandchild who LOVED the swing set. Thank you for a great weekend.

Great time!
We had a great stay, and a very accommodating and respectful host. Mid way through our stay our host checked in with us to ensure everything was going good and to see if we needed anything. Aside from our accommodating host, the house was in a perfect location for us because it was close to other family members' houses and other places we wanted to visit (especially Iggy's and the Boardwalk at Oakland Beach). The house is only about 25-30 minutes or so from Newport which was a nice day trip for the day we had great weather. Overall, I will likely try to reserve this VRBO again visiting my family and Rhode Island again. Thank you!

Cute house
The house is located on a quiet street and is very cute inside and out. Although we stayed in April, the unseasonal heat made our nights very hot and uncomfortable. Listing says there was AC, but they were window units, not central AC. The owner did offer to put them in however, but by then we were about to leave.

Outstanding host!
This house was cozy and comfortable, and well located between Newport and Providence. Gerald was an outstanding host who answered all my questions promptly - even calling me to clarify where to go to buy seafood or try to see a lighted bridge! I would definitely stay in one of his properties again.

Charming home for my holiday vacation.
More than expected. Perfect location close to shops. I was happily surprised at the size of the living area and kitchen. The eat in kitchen had all the necessities to host my family for Christmas dinner. I will definitely see if this property is available on my next trip to Rhode Island.

Host is a very sweet parson who is very helpful anf zlways just a call away. Quaint little cottage in a extremely quiet neighborhood on a dead end. Clean in every aspect. The put things in rental that they are not obligated but its a extra touch of home. We already discussed our return.

Cozy, comfortable, and convenient
This cozy cottage was perfect for me and my 3 teenagers to call home for the week. Its convenient location allowed us to take day trips within Rhode Island as well as Mystic, CT and Boston. Very close to the beaches and Providence. We were also able to go over to the track next door and get some exercise! We ate in a lot, but there are lots of choices for eating out as well. And 2 awesome movie theaters are also closeby. We would definitely come back.

Charming, humble and well stocked
The host, Gerry, was very responsive and answered all my questions promptly. Really nice guy. The cottage/house was very clean, comfortable and stocked with all of the amenities. The furniture isn’t brand new and has seen some use but is in good shape. It’s located in a safe neighborhood on a street that’s a little hard to find even with GPS because the street sign is hidden. (Landmark for street is that the corner house has a stockade fence with large rocks/small boulders lining the yard.) The street was very quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The upstairs bedroom has low ceilings and is great for kids but adults need to remember to watch their heads. We appreciated the AC being on for our arrival for the hot weekend and bottles of water & snacks. I would stay there again if in the area.

Well stocked cozy home
We stayed as a family of four and a mother in law. The host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed. Clean home. Cute pond within walking distance would have been perfect for our paddleboards. There's a track right behind the house which is fun for getting a quick run in. About 40 min drive from Newport but plenty of decent beaches within 10 mins. Warwick is certainly not our favorite spot, but anyone coming to the area should consider a reasonably priced comfortable stay with this host.

Great Girls' Weekend!
High school friends for over 30 years...we gals stayed at this cozy house and had a wonderful time! The house was very clean and exactly as described. Check in was a breeze, and Gerry was very responsive to all our questions. The house is well stocked, and an easy drive to all the things we wanted to do and see. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed our stay in this cozy and basically furnished cottage. The entry system was simple to use and the rooms were compact and tidy. The furniture would benefit from updating but everything inside was clean and functional. Above all, the VRBO host, Gerry was extremely attentive and responsive. One could not ask for someone so professional, receptive and pro-actively efficient. As an example his response to a burst water main (in the street outside the property), no fault of his, was to provide us with a gift voucher to a highly recommended local eatery. We were only out of water for a couple of hours! Thank you Gerry for your wonderful hospitality.

Quiet neighborhood and lovely Home that sleeps up to Six people
My daughters and I spent a lovely week in R.I. for my 60th Birthday. This home was so nice and perfect for our stay. It was quiet on this street and close and centered to all of our excursions. Great place to stay!
