Like staying at a railroad station motel. It does have a fantastic view of the Square of the Unknown Soldier, so if you splurge on the premium view room, you will see the daily watch change and if you’re lucky, like we were, you’ll spot Poland’s dignitaries, the cavalry horses and legions of soldiers marching through the place, which is undeniably exciting. So for that reason, Victoria iis worth one stay. But we are NEVER coming back. This place has the charm of a train station motel. It is just ugly, utilitarian at best. It’s cold in character, rudimentary in decor and the rooms are oh so unimaginative. Our headboard, which is just padded faux leather tiles attached to wall, was scratched off and looked like it was actively flaking.. place was clean and the breakfast room large, bright and inviting. Luckily it’s a few steps away from the beautiful Krakowskie Przedmiescie and the exquisite Bristol hotel, so we went there every chance we got and pined for its beautiful bedrooms, ultra charming staff, delicous old world Bristol Cafe, gorgeous cozy Gin Bar and it’s brilliant bar tenders..
