We really enjoyed our stay. Property was located in an amazing spot looking over the river. Every detail was carefully thought out in the cabin including towels, utensils, appliances even a Keurig machine which made our morning coffee by the river even more enjoyable!

Great location on the river, not far from Lake George or hiking, fishing, and climbing spots. Comfortable, well-maintained house with a very nice patio and deck. Very responsive and helpful host.

Just the trip we needed
The location was beautiful, the sounds of nature were all we wanted and we got exactly that. Living in densely populated Long Island we very seldom get this type of privacy and time alone with nature anymore. The home itself had everything we needed, and everything felt so thoughtful it almost seemed curated. Host was very friendly and accommodating which made it all the better. My only regret or negative was that we only stayed a couple of nights.

Cannot beat that river view!
This property was EXACTLY what we had in mind for a relaxing ladies’ weekend. That view of the Hudson River was the highlight of the stay; it was completely mesmerizing to have a cup of coffee next to that every morning. Everything was beautifully organized and well-labeled, especially when it came to the kitchen. Pamela was a FANTASTIC host who was very hospitable and extremely easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend this listing for a peaceful Adirondack experience!

Great location...close to everything. Beautiful deck overlooking the Hudson River with its soothing sounds. A great place to come back to after a day of fly fishing or hiking, The house is supplied with everything in the kitchen you could ever need...we just brought some groceries. The greatest compliment is a return visit, and we are already discussing same....and everything we needed to know was right there and easy to find. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time with our kids, age 15 and 17. The property was close to town and I can’t say enough about the beauty of the area. Loved falling asleep to the sounds of the water just below the deck!

Wonderful place
Excellent location right on the edge of the upper Hudson River. The sunlight on the river, and the sound from the rushing water over the rocks was great. The cottage had excellent amenities, including a/c, a backup generator that kept everything going during a storm, and a fully equipped kitchen with lots of different spices. The outdoors seating area was great…several bird feeders, including for the hummingbirds. We loved the place.

Perfect little getaway for me and my husband. Listening to the Hudson River was so relaxing felt like you were in a treehouse. Loved all the little touches only about a 10 minute drive to Lake George one little recommendation would be possibly to replace the mattress in the master bedroom. It seemed like it was at its end of its life. Also recommendation would be your instructions all match. It seem like the ones we got emailed and the ones in the book that was left were different. definitely would stay here again.

The cottage on the river was exactly what we were hoping for and more! It was peaceful, relaxing, well stocked, clean and cozy! We felt like we were at home. We stayed here in 2017 and the property is now owned by Pam! She is amazing! We would tell there have been many upgrades, the house looks awesome! The view is so relaxing! We can’t wait to return!

Piece of Paradise
This is the perfect escape from the rat race. You can't help but relax with the view and sound of the river directly below the deck and the constant visits from hummingbirds and chipmunks. It was in the low 80's outside but the AC and fans kept the house cool. The loft was cool at night with a window AC unit and plenty of fans to circulate the cool air. Slept like a rock. We relaxed on the covered part of the deck one afternoon and watched a thunderstorm roll by. We never had to contact Pam about any issues - we had no problems with anything. The house is very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. The house was very clean and cozy. Pam obviously put a lot of effort into every detail of the house, inside and out. The spotty Wifi was a blessing - couldn't read emails from the office most of the time. There is a house right next door and another across the street. We never heard a peep from either. The VRBO posting for the house lists several hikes - we did the Hackensack Mountain Trail head and highly recommend it - pretty easy and provides an aerial view of downtown Warrensburg and the surrounding mountains. Looking forward to our next stay here.
