Family weekend getaway
House was very clean, and recently updated. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Big bedrooms, with comfortable beds. Movie room a plus! Backyard has promise, but outdoor furniture not well kept and grass long overdue for mowing. Communication was spot on. Would stay here again!

Mom's Weekend Away
What a beautiful and relaxing property to spend a girl's trip/mom's weekend away! There were four of us and we loved every part of the home - especially the kitchen and dining areas! It was comfortable, ADORABLE, and met all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

Nice home
We were in town for a dance convention for our daughter. The house is about 10 minutes from the convention center. It was clean and comfortable. I recommend turning on the a/c in the theater room right when you get there and closing the door, then it will be comfortable in the Texas heat once it cools down.

Perfect Girls Getaway
This home was the perfect girls getaway. We all came from various parts of the state and decided to meet in Waco to celebrate one of us getting married. The home was well-equipped with everything we could've needed- from blender and coffee maker to cozy blankets for movie watching. The extra bathroom upstairs was amazing for helping us all get ready for a day of shopping (so 8 women among 3 bathrooms wasn't bad!). The night we got in we stayed up late watching a movie in the movie room- such a great feature! The next afternoon we enjoyed all of the outdoor space. The large dining table easily fit us all without feeling like the room was too crowded. If we come back to Waco, I would love to stay at this lovely home again! If you're going for a Magnolia weekend, this home has all the vibes and decor to get you in the shopping spirit!

Beautiful home with a short drive to Silos
We had a great stay at the sweet memories house and the owners were wonderful. I will say I was surprised by Waco and felt a bit let down with the neighborhood and the overall city. I walk regularly and felt unsafe walking around the neighborhood. Downtown near the Silos was nicer and as you head out to Crawford it is also much different.

We would definitely come back and stay at the movie house. Pictures are just like the house….beautiful! Cozy beds, they provide everything needed for the stay! The movie room provided great time to retreat and enjoy movies each night for our crew. The host were excellent in quick response for questions and check in - check out was simple.

You won’t be disappointed
This house was perfect for our small family of 6. It is nicely furnished, quiet, clean, beds are comfortable, and has an awesome theater room and a game room. It is in fairly close proximity to downtown and the Silos. After having fun in and around Waco, it was a pleasant way to wrap up each day.

We loved the place! The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The location was perfect for visiting the Silos and shopping other great places in Waco. We would definitely stay here again. Our group of 5 had plenty of room to spread out and the movie room was great.

Feels like a home from Fixer Upper!
The hosts were wonderful and very easy to communicate with! The house was clean and beautiful! Our kids (15, 13, 9) absolutely loved the movie room and game room and wanted to stay longer! Location was great...within 8-10 minutes of Magnolia and other local attractions! We would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving getaway
We were on a short Thanksgiving vacation to spend time with our grandson he attend Baylor College he's on the Baylor football team he couldn't come home so we went meet him we enjoyed staying in the rental it was nice clean and very spacious we cooked Thanksgiving dinner in that beautiful kitchen and my family watch television in the theater room we even played the games in the game room we just had fun and enjoyed our stay for that short time 4 days and we hope that we'll be able to rent that house again

Wow! This place was so perfect for our family of 8. We were in town for a conference and because it is centrally located we were able to come back for meals between sessions and relax and even watch a football game in the awesome movie room! Everything is labeled making it super easy to find things in the kitchen. The beds were VERY comfortable and the decor was really lovely!! Thanks for a perfect weekend with our kids!!

Summer in Waco
Great stay at home adventure. Movie theater was amazing. Game room was entertaining for young and old. 12 minutes to Baylor and easy drive to Magnolia. Neighborhood is undergoing improvements but overall good ! Enjoyed our time as a family in this beautiful home. It had built in entertainment, soft beds and was kept very clean and organized !

Charming get away
House is lovely as well as backyard & patio space. Loved that there was a grill. Very well equipped kitchen. Movie room was a very fun touch that we all enjoyed. Would recommend and hope to stay again.

We had an amazing time staying at your home! Thank you for all of the big and little things that made it feel like home! Beautiful decor, lots of space, comfy beds, plenty of bedding & towels, (softest towels & TP I’ve ever had at a vrbo, so thank you for that!), lots of kitchen accessories, fun game & movie rooms, beautiful outdoor sitting areas, quiet neighborhood & easy to get to all of the great things to see in Waco. Cute home just what we needed. Only complaint is the check in and check out times. Normally most places we have stayed check in is 3:00 and check out is 11:00.

Surprised that you would knock off a star for this! Very unfair! The check in and check out times were clearly listed on the ad BEFORE you booked, AND you had to agree to the times BEFORE you booked. We had a check out right before you and a check in right after. Extra cleaning is required during covid, and it takes our cleaners quite a long time to disinfect and prepare the next guest. Due to your late check out, the cleaners had to sit outside and wait for you.

Close to everything WACO, plus Staying-In comfort and FUN!
Girl's trip for my daughter's 50th Birthday was so much fun here! Living in northern Idaho and eastern Washington, we 5 flew into Dallas, rented vehicle and drove down to Waco. Two of us had been to Waco a couple of years ago and wanted to return. This Sweet Memories Movie House was so comfortable and well equipped ... beds, linens, cooking needs, games and Movie Theater Room comfort! Five ladies always getting ready for an adventure and "never" running out of hot water is awesome. My only suggestion is that you might want to bring spices with you, other than salt and pepper ... glad we did. If we have this trip opportunity again, we will certainly stay here again. So fun!

Perfect Place for a Girls Weekend Away
Loved everything about our time at Sweet Memories! Our group of 8 friends enjoyed every inch of this beautiful home. It was even better than the pictures. The outside seating was perfect for late night conversation, the big round table gave us a great spot to play games. We enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable furniture and slept like babies in the beds. Plenty of thoughtful touches throughout the house and we especially loved that the owners use the revenue to help support World Vision children. Thank you for an amazing stay! The communication from the host was exceptionally prompt and reassuring. The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the beds were very comfortable. The movie theater was awesome! Sweet Memories Movie house was just as wonderful as it looks in the pictures! The decor is gorgeous, the beds were so comfortable and they thought of everything! We shopped all day and watched movies at night in the movie room. It was the perfect getaway for 2 couples!

Perfect Family Getaway in Waco
This place is conveniently located near a quite part of Waco, Texas. We had easy access to the Magnolia district and the other places we visited. The house was clean and stocked with things that you might need. Basically we just brought food, clothes and personal necessities. Which is great when you are traveling in one vehicle. But more importantly it was fun. Plenty of space for 6 of us! The movie room was my husband's favorite spot. May bave been because of the recliners, the giant screen or the surround sound. Now he is making plans for my sons room at home when he moves out. Lol. The house decor was perfect. It has a true fixer upper feel to it. The backyard was gorgeous. Down to every little detail. Everything in the house was labeled to help you find your way around. (Huge time saver). Also made cleanup go much faster. The communication from the owners was spot on. They made it worth every penny. I would never think I would plan to stay in the same house twice because I'm such an explorer. This house has changed my mind.

Amazing girls weekend!
Wow, what to say about this house.... it is the most precious, comfortable and guest-friendly place I’ve ever stayed. It is stocked with everything you could need for a getaway, including plenty of bathroom towels, extra blankets, fully stocked kitchen and some great DVDs for the home theater! Although I had a great time touring Waco, I could have been equally happy just lounging at the house all weekend. Obviously the theater was super fun and comfortable, but the outdoor area was also great. The outdoor string lights really gave it a great ambiance. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to any questions we had. Location was only 7 minutes from downtown Waco. I can’t wait to stay in one of their other rental properties in the future!

As two families with grown adult children this home was perfect for our group. There were plenty of very comfy beds for sleeping, and the game room and movie room were a definite hit. The location was great in a quite neighborhood close to Baylor, the Silos, Pinewood Coffee and Harvest restaurant. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. There's also a lovely patio and backyard for those times you want to relax outside. All in all it was a great stay.

Adorable home
