Great staff, good location. All in all a good place to stay. Breakfast was excellent in the cafe adjoining the hotel.

There was water on the carpet and all they did was put towels down and it didn't absorb it at all.We kept getting wethe.They didn't even offer us another room.It was drenched.I mean you step on it and it would splash

Clean and updated rooms, great shower, comfortable beds. Having the diner attached was great, and the media/games room is a nice touch. The staff was super helpful, and the service was noticeably better than a lot of other places I've stayed. Price was good as well, I would stay again without hesitation, and would recommend to friends.

Property has potential but expensive immediate area has homeless people but there is no place to get coffee before 8 am. The room was small and there were issues with the curtains and the farmhouse door to the bathroom slipped off its track several times. I also slipped on the shower floor. Staff were all pleasant but not particularly helpful

Enjoyed the games room ,clean and quiet and updated hotel. Kudos to Chris for finding my wife's jacket. Service was good., too. Price was high for the long weekend, though

This is a fantastic place for the price. If you’re looking for a top hotel then this probably isn’t for you, but for a cheaper hotel it’s one of the best. It’s clearly an old building that’s been updated, but has been updated well. The staff was the best I’ve dealt with in years. The games room was an awesome bonus and there’s an outdoor pool. We also got a free upgrade which was super great. Parking was a little difficult the first night, but was fine the rest of the way. Highly recommend for a cheaper hotel option.

There’s a few minor issues that I have addressed to the hotel concierge. it was about 3 to 5 inch blood stains near the elevators button (2nd floor). Hotel elevator mirror & walls should look decent. House keeping staff is awesome. All in all it’s a great hotel stay

The area was very noisy and had very limited parking. It was a constant struggle to find a parking spot. The underground garage smelled of piss and cigarettes and was sketchy to park in. The staff was very nice however.

Property is clean, rooms are renovated and clean but elevators and some amenities are just painted over and old. Nice and quiet in room for us so slept well, it was a good experience.

The rooms were clean, and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again and wil recommend it to friends and family. It was extremely good value.

Room service did not clean the room even though I specially requested the receptionist Adil Jaria to get the room cleaned before heading out for sightseeing. Even the towels were not replaced.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vic. Food was good at both locations there. Parking one evening was a bit of a pain, took us a while to find a spot. Overall we would stay there again, good location.

I like the Vic for the following reasons: - The building is a bit dated, but the recent renovation made it a comfortable stay (new bathrooms, rainfall shower with good water pressure, quiet fan in the bathroom, bright lobby, new lighting fixtures) - It's tucked away on a quiet street that feel safe and quiet - The room that we stayed in was quiet, even thought it was close to the elevator - The staffs were friendly, professional, and helpful - They have a multi screen TV in the amenity room that comes with a table tennis table, a foosball table, a popcorn machine, and board games. I saw guests gather there for hockey games and fun every so often. That gave the hotel a vibrant vibe. The only minor inconvenience is its location. Depends on where you need to go, you may need to drive through the surrounding residential area for 5-8 min before you hit the main roads. But given the traffic, the smaller road may be quicker at times. Overall, it was a pleasure and comfortable stay and I would stay there again.

The staff were friendly and ready to assist with any questions. The rooms were modern and I enjoyed the space. Nice proximity to downtown and I enjoyed the TV options as well. I will book here again for my next trip to Victoria!

This hotel was perfectly located almost minutes away from most restaurants. Not too far from the inner harbor and some stunning hikes. For a weekend getaway, the Vic was a great hotel & staff were very kind

The mattress was really comfortable and great quality. The bathroom fan was noisy, and hope this can be improved. The staff are friendly and the facilities are good. We enjoyed playing the table football and ping pong.

The first room was not clean and smelled very badly of smoke. The second one was clean but still smelled very bad of smoke as well. However the desk staff was amazing and refunded us some of our money. The staff was amazing
