The place was great! Easy to access. Room was small but had everything I needed. Centrally located, next to the train station, close to the lake. My room had a balcony with an amazing view! That's the main reason for an excellent review from me.

I strongly recommend
Very practical ,near the train station, absolutely clean and modern, the shower is particularly small but perfect. Contains much more than what I was waiting for: plates and glasses and iron board and coffee machine. I specially appreciated the pass permitting reductions on transportation around the city.

Very nice property, in the heart of town, 5 min walk from the lake. We couldn't use the parking because they lost the remote control to access it.

What is great about the hotel: Spacious rooms w refrigerator, laundry machines in basement for free usage, location right next to Vevey Gare train station For improvement: Confusion on checking in (Note: make sure you have access code before arriving), poor Covid 19 control, sad pillows

Spacious room close to train station
Close to vevey train station and supermarket. Staff were helpful and cheerful, they recommended some sightseeing spots and good food nearby. Room was very spacious and equipped with cooking facilities and ironing board. Washing and drying machines were located at basement while you needed to have your own detergent.

Wonderful Vevey
Excellent trip. The apartment was lovely. Very clean with everything we needed apart from a toaster. Very close to train station and to shops and restaurants. Only a short 10 minute stroll down to the lake which had spectacular views of the mountains. Would highly recommend both the apartment and Vevey itself. Only a few minutes by train to Montreux which was lovely. Saw the Queen exhibition at the Casino. Got the boat back to Vevey giving lovely views. Went to Charlie Chaplin’s house in Vevey which was only a short bus journey away. Really enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend. Went on the Chocolate train from the station next to the apartment. A lovely trip starting on a beautiful old train taking you through the countryside. Then via a really comfortable coach to the Gruyère cheese factory, the Gruyères village and onto the Cailler chocolate factory. A really enjoyable trip.

Just 2 mins walk from Vevey SBB station near platform 1/2. Newly furnished, clean & comfort. There is a common kitchen at basement floor, worth to make use if u want to make simple dishes. Nice & helpful staff. Highly recommended

The staff in the lobby and the room cleaning lady are very nice and helpful. The room is very clean. I like the self-service kitchen and laundry. However, I found some guests did smoking in their room, the smell was so strong in the corridor. I am a bit disappointed it.

Could not do better.
The convenience of this apartment was excellent. It helps that Vevey is a small town, but to be right next to the train station (the windows are pretty sound proof so there was really no train noise) as well as shopping and a short walk to the lake could not be beat. :) The amenities offered could not be beat! While I did not make use of the pool or kitchen, I did use the washing machine and dryer!

Position was perfect for our stay, close to station and festivities. Very good sound proofing, blocked out the street noises. A/C was greatly appreciated in the heat. Close to shops.

The apartment is in an excellent location. It was great to have use of the kitchen and laundry facilities, but the beds and pillows are TERRIBLE!! I wouldn't stay there again for that reason as we hardly got any sleep for the 3 nights we stayed.

Clean, quite new, a bit cramped but adequate. 1 minute to railway station (trains quite loud when double glazed windows are open but silence reigns when closed) and 5 minutes to the edge of the lake and old town of Vevey. Front desk unmanned on Sat/Sun. Security codes to enter building and room provided by email; no problem with gaining entry. As advised, the room contained a microwave, fridge (no freezer section) and coffee machine. There were coffee cups, mugs and teaspoons. No knives, forks, plates or bowls. It wasn’t clear how one could prepare a meal of any sort until we happened to spy that there is a fully equipped, share kitchen in the basement. This information should have been spelt out on the www.hotels.com website or in the room information. Very frustrating to discover the kitchen just before we departed.

Great price and great location as apartment was behind/beside the train station. However, the place wasn't really ready and up and running. Most of the tv channels weren't available as they were still facing signal issues and there were hardly any english channels available out of the few that were working. We were also given a disabled access bathroom which made a real mess, with water flowing all over to outside the bathroom door, to the front door and the cabinets, even with the door closed. We had to use all the towels we could to soak up the mess, to ensure no one would slip and fall. It was extremely pleasant and we had to take caution when we showered to ensure not too much water flowed out. Room was also very near the train tracks though we did request for a quiet room and it didn't seem like they were full.

Great facilities, but terrible communication
The hotel itself was perfect - great location, great facilities. However, the communication was problematic. I arrived at 7pm to be confronted with a door code that I'd been sent no instructions for. On ringing the number given on the door, I was told I should have received an email with door codes etc. I had not been sent anything. I was kept waiting on the phone for ages, then was told I would be sent an email with info after giving my email address, and had to pay the city tax by bank transfer before they would send me a door code. I had already paid for the room in advance, but not the city tax. Why I hadn't been asked for this, I don't know, if they were happy to take it by transfer anyway. I explained that I could not make a payment by phone and they were stumped and said they'd get back to me. Luckily someone exited the building at that point, and I got into the foyer, where I was approached by a member of staff who efficiently checked my details, gave me the codes and took my payment in cash. All fine after that, but really, this situation was pretty bad. What if it had been midnight when I arrived?

Give it a miss.
The apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Everything else was a disaster. The Wi-Fi didn’t work for 24-hours, there’s no USB ports for re-charging and they wouldn’t let me park in the near empty car park. When they did it was no cheaper than a public car park. The hair drier over heated and stopped, the 6-digit entry code is a pain and you are 10m from a busy railway station. The front desk is only manned for 9-hours a day. Dodgy area too next to the station with men posted on each street corner all day with only a mobile phone.

Reservation pour le 8 au 9 mai a Veves. La communication etait catastrophique dès le début. Informations insuffisantes jusqu'à fausses. Et puis pas d'email avec Code d'accès le samedi.Numeros de tel indiqués sur le site pas valables... etc. L'email avec le code n'est pas arrivée sur mon iPhone; ni sms. J'ai perdu une heure sur place pour accéder a la chambre (et seulement grace à l'aide du restaurant a coté). Dans la chambre aucune instruction sur wifi code; chauffage etc. Il n'est pas imaginable qu'un tel establishment n'offre pas und présence professionnels sur place. Le parking était loin d'être plein. Ma demande pour un parking par telephone avait était refusée en me disant qu'il n'y avait pas de parking disponible... La chambre était bien. Mais on ne peut pas travailler avec un hotel sans service de communication du tout... dommage

Ich habe das alte Hotel "Famille" gekannt. Jetzt nach dem Umbau ist alles schön, neu und sauber. Freundliches Personal.Wie bei vielen Appartements gibt es keinen Zimmerservice.

Die Appartements waren sehr modern und an zentralen Lage direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Das Checkin per Mail und dem Zugangscode hat bestens funktioniert. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist und für alle Anfragen anrufen muss. Aktuell finden am Bahnhof in der Nacht Bauarbeiten statt welche sehr störend sein können.
