The rural outbuilding old border Rocchetta tower (XIII century), has access and small independent court. E 'consists of a large kitchen with living room on the ground floor, a double bed plus a sofa bed on the first floor, bathroom and second bedroom in the attic, plus a single sofa bed. The property located 15 kilometers from the historic center of Verona is completely surrounded by the tranquility of the woods in a unique natural setting ideal for couples and families who appreciate the whole nature.
The uncontaminated nature of the place is not suitable for those who are not at ease with the local microfauna (such as grasshoppers, scorpions, ladybugs, bedbugs and spiders), who can occasionally visit the house despite the mosquito nets and the thorough cleaning of the house. Whoever appreciates nature can enjoy the company of fireflies and butterflies, proof of the goodness of the air, and see birds like the woodpecker and the hoopoe.

Lovely historic farmhouse in remote setting, welcoming and thoughtful host
Although the farmhouse is quite remote - and a car is needed to get anywhere from here - the beauty of the natural environment, the birdsong and the fresh air all more than compensate. This is particularly an experience for nature-lovers, families needing amenities nearby would need to consider this. The host was very welcoming and spoke good English. The house was well-equipped with everything you would need (apart from towels), especially if - as we do - you enjoy cooking, and the period features and solid rustic furniture and fittings helped to create a comfortable and authentic experience. our host also helped us to arrange, for a reasonable fee, for a friend to visit the house to give us a fantastic pasta-making class which was truly awesome, our children enjoyed this so much, I know this will always be a special memory for them now and they have acquired a new skill. The kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity of our host (and our cooking teacher) really made this a very special experience for us.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is secluded and quiet. Franceska gave us a referral to a nearby restaurant which was probably the best meal we had in Italy. Very nice.

Relaxing stay
Clean, comfortable and characterful house in quiet countryside about 20-30 mins drive from central Verona. A great base for exploring Verona and further afield, either west to Lake Garda or east to Venice. Francesca is a very friendly and helpful host (with fluent English, which was much appreciated!) who made sure everything related to our stay worked well. We had a lovely week!

Francesca was very nice and helpful. The layout of the apartment is such that the people staying upstairs have to go through the bedroom on the first floor to reach the bathroom and the rest of the house. It was not a big problem for us since we were all family, but people who are uncomfortable walking through their fellow travelers bedroom might think twice about this rental. Also the towels provided were small , of bad quality and molded. There were no toiletries provided and at arrival we were told that an additional tax, had to be paid. In cash.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Words cannot do justice as to the lovely house Francesca and her family allow lucky visitors to stay in. From the moment we arrived ( on a very stormy night! ) Francesca was there to meet us with a smile and made us feel extremely welcome, even going to the trouble of booking us a table at the local restaurant that same evening. The location of the house is perfect, nestled in the hills outside of Verona, it is so peaceful, accessed by a very quiet road, you hear no traffic noise at night and very rarely during the day! The location of the house makes it very easy to visit Venice, 35 mins drive to the railway station and then 1.5 hrs on the train. We had a wonderful day there with perfect weather. Verona is only 30 mins drive with easy parking and so many beautiful sights to see. Lake Garda and the outstanding Sirmione is only just over an hour away and very easy to reach. We have had the best holiday of our lives here and we cannot begin to recommend this holiday home enough. Perfecto!! Neil and Tracey

Fabulous place to stay. So very beautiful and peaceful.
We had an amazing week here and were very reluctant to leave. The house has been lovingly restored and has interests everywhere. Francesca was very welcoming and spoke excellent English. She gave us lots info on the house and great advice for our visit to Venice. If we are ever to come back to this area this would be where we would stay again!

Rustikales Landhaus in schöner naturnaher Umgebung!
Wir sind sehr freundlich von unserer Gastgeberin empfangen worden. Das Haus liegt in sehr naturnaher, bewaldeter und ruhiger Umgebung. Wir und unser Hund haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Zu unserem Glück hat eigentlich nur eine bequemere Aussenbestuhlung gefehlt. Die Plastikstühle sind ohne Auflagen und bei den Liegen handelt es sich um Feldklappbetten, die keine verstellbaren Rücklehnen zum bequemen Lesen haben. Die Osteria im nahe gelegenen Ort, Richtung Verona ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und Francesca und Mauro waren freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Vielen Dank.

Natur pur und absolut ruhig
Das alte Gebäude versprüht einen beeindruckenden Charme. Dennoch ist es modern und gut eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist eine äußerst freundliche, herzliche und hilfsbereite Person. Nach Verona und zum Gardasee ist es nicht weit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch unser kleiner Hund war da perfekt aufgehoben. Ideal. Wir kommen grrne wieder.

Interessantes Haus in ruhiger Lage
Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der sehr nette Gastgeberin begrüßt und durch das großzügige Haus geführt. Es liegt in einem langstreckten Tal etwa 12 km nördlich von Verona, was es uns ermöglichte etliche schöne alte Städte in der Ebene zu erleben als auch die interessanten Orte am Gardasee zu bestaunen. Insgesamt Gastgeberin super, Lage super, Haus toll! Wir kommen wieder!

Hemels rustig
Midden in prachtige natuur. Aan de rand van de heuvels. Aan de rand van het open wijngaardlandschap. Op een tiental kilometer van Verona. Het Gardameer, de Valpolicella, fietsen, cruisen met de auto, rustig een boek lezen terwijl de herten voor jouw neus zich tegoed doen aan de pruimelaar... En Olivia, de poes van de eigenaars, die ons adopteerde als haar familie. Twee zalige weken!
