The property is old of course but the place was really clean and within walking distance to all the main attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Great central hotel for the money
Real Ealing times Hotel 10 min walk to St Marks Square. 5 min from Rialto Bridge 10 min to water bus stop for Milano and Barano Islands. Hotel very clean bedding immaculate standards rooms acceptable but very small toilet shower rooms some standard rooms look out onto brick wall no view. The larger category of rooms have large bathrooms with bath and shower and have view over square or street these are the best room in the hotel we had room 9 second floor deco floor spacious room. The carpets on stars and in some of the rooms have patchers of threadbear holes. Break fas 8am to 10am good selection of cold foods ( no hot food) overall it’s a very good hotel for the price very very centrally located and very helpful staff. Meals can be taken inside or outside the hotel in the square. Don’t e spect 4 or 5 star luxury and you will enjoy your stay at the Millibran Hotel. Nearest Water Bus or WaterTaxi is at Rialto Bridge. Only one bride to negotiate with suitcases from Rialto Bridge.Warter Bus.

Easy to find Hotel with a Small Bathroom
This hotel is surprisingly easy to find for the 1st timer to Venice. There is a ferry service that departs from near Venice-Santa Lucia Train Station and would drop you off at a stop next to the Rialto Bridge. An approx.50m walk is needed, and the hotel is behind a church, partially hidden from view if you are not aware. The hotel staff is friendly and suggested places I should visit. Detail maps and directions were provided. The guestroom is sized for two, but the bathroom is way too small. At about 30 sq.ft. it has a shower stall, toilet bowl, bidet, and sink. If you are tall (I am 1.84m), you will have to sit sideways on the toilet bowl. In my opinion, the bidet could be removed, and the toilet bowl repositioned 90 degrees to allow for the legs of the tall person. On the other hand, the bathroom could be enlarged by 5 sq.ft. to ease the awkwardness in using it. Just my opinion as there may be other local ordinances that I am unaware of. The hotel provides an adequate no-cost breakfast buffet to guests and a 10% off if guests lunch or dine at its restaurant. This discount helps, but I find perhaps everything is somewhat related. That is to say, I have found the food quality to deteriorate as the days went by (I stayed 3 nights). My dinner was great on the first day. Come the 2nd night it was salty, and the 3rd night was saltier. Then again, I hope it was not because I did not pay enough (note: my earlier comment on the discount). Overall, my stay was okay

The twin bed room is tiny just like the bathroom but the staff is friendly and informative. The breakfast that is included is worth it. I suggest choosing the bigger bedroom and if possible on the 3rd floor. The elevator as you would expect is also tiny.

Nice location and price for the duration of the stay. Close to everything in Venice, food was nice, nice breakfast and dinner. Bedroom was good size, just very small bathroom. Hotel would benefit from some renovations.

This is a great find in Venice
Excellent stuff, very very polite. excellent spot 5 min from Rialto bridge and the vaporetti stops. I loved the spot for breakfast and dinner in front of Teatro Malibran. Great food at the connected restaurant. I would come again. Spotlessly clean.

The location is superb, absolutely central yet quiet too. Staff friendly. Free continental breakfast is a fab way of ensuring you have something to eat before heading out. Good restaurant on site, and one next door. Opposite is a superb Italian. Good prices excellent for Venice at the hotel and nearby restaurants.

Nice hotel in Venice
Very good location of the hotel, room and toilets are clean. Just 5 mitues walk to Rialto bridge one the famous attraction in Venice and very close to duty free building which you can go to the rooftop (terrace) and overlooking grand canal and Venice. The staff are very helpful and very good continental breakfast, lot of food choices. About 10 minutes walk to st. Mark square just follow the sign to the square. And the restaurant offer lots of good food and you will have 10 percent discout on your bill. Next to burger king as well if you dont want pizza or spaghetti. This hotel is recommended if you are looking for holiday in Venice but don't want to spend a lot in your hotel.

Lovely hotel, very well-placed near the Rialto. Friendly, helpful staff. Close by to busy shopping and tourist areas, but in a slightly quieter street/courtyard. I was in a very pleasant studio flat style room. It has air conditioning, which was a bonus.

The location was wonderful and in the heart of Venice. The hotel is outdated from thw couches, beds, to the comforters. There were dead bugs stuck to our ceilings. The room was small, but that is expected in european rooms. On a positive note, they gave plenty of towels, swnt me wonderful directions to the hotel feom the Realato Bridge, and the breakfast had a large choice to choose from. The staff was nice, not roo friendly, but not rude. This hotel was not definietly worth the $271 in U.S. dollars, I paid for one night. Its overpriced for what you get.

Venice -A gem especially just off the beaten path
Great location and a friendly welcome from the staff including putting on a late dinner for us when we arrived at 10.30 pm on the ferry from the airport A bit tired....shower head broke and was slow on repair. Pricey....but that is Venice for you. 10% discount at restaurant was appreciated. Must go to the Malibran Theatre one day. Once thank you to the friendly people......all before the summer rush begins in earnest.

The Hotel Malibran is right next to the historic Teatro Malibran, which is why we stayed there. Rooms are small, but comfortable and very clean. Good heat in winter when we were there. There is a very good restaurant attached to the hotel, where the unusually ample breakfasts are served. Very good lunch and dinner too. It is about a 20 minute walk to the train station or five minutes to the Rialto vaporetto stop. Close to a major walking street, but far enough so that the hotel is very quiet at night.

Small hotel, well situated.
The Malibran is very well situated near shops bars restaurants and the Rialto bridge. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is good for this class of hotel but isn't served until 8am. I didn't try the restaurant but it always appeared full. There are some really excellent restaurants very near by in the corte Milion. The decor is a bit shabby and I had the smallest shower room/loo combo I've ever been in (though I did have a single room). I'd recommend the hotel and I plan to go back with my wife.....so we may get a bigger shower room😊

Malibran was the perfect location: 5-10 minute walk to Rialto and St. Mark's Square but in a quiet courtyard away from the throngs of tourists. The hotel and room was a bit dated, but very clean and functional. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Three Generations of Women in Venice
This hotel is in the middle of everything! It is close to the Rialto Bridge, not far from Saint Mark's Square and the shopping that is close by is second to none. Our A/C did not work so well in our room. We were on the third floor and the temperatures were unusually warm for June. So, it could have been just circumstance that made the room feel hot. If you are looking for a newly renovated room, this is not the place for you. I found it to be quaint. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean!!! The views were not the best, but we did not stay overly long in the room looking out the window. The breakfast was good and the coffee great! The staff was very kind and very knowledgeable. There is a lift, which is a plus! There were three of us in this hotel room and we were not cramped, by any means! You can not beat the location!! I would recommend this hotel for anyone trying to stay in this price range and be in the "heart" of Venice! Great Hotel Overall!

The hotel is in a geat location off the main thoroughfare and very near to the Rialto Bridge. It does need updating and doesn't look as though much has been done since our last visit 10 years ago. The room was attended to each day and bed sheets were clean and fresh. The cleaning of the room is not so good and it was pretty dusty, however, not dirty. Breakfast is simple, but perfectly adequate to set you up for the day.

A decent place
Malibran is close to the Rialto and convenient to other major parts of Venice. Their directions were clear and precise. Our room was dated and in need of a repaint, but the bed was comfortable. If one is expecting a North American hotel room, this will disappoint, but it is typical of an Italian hotel in a historic building and district - small, but perfectly adequate. The bathroom, to be generous, was tight, but perfectly adequate for what one needs to do. We really appreciated the cheerful and very helpful advice from the desk staff, who all spoke knowledgeably about Venice and in excellent English. In many ways this hotel was more than adequate for our needs, after all, one is not in Venice to sit in your hotel room, when there is so much to see and do outside!

Spectacular hotel!
Wonderful hotel! CLEAN (most important to me), very spacious, and in an ideal location. I would pay more for this hotel than what I did- it's a definite steal! Breakfast is also wonderful.
