Nice cozy place in a quite neighborhood
We stayed here for a family visit. It’s relatively very close to the Mestre train and bus stations. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. In my case the beds were too tightly close. The personal is excellent, they let us leave our bags for a late departure.

Perfect gateway to Venice.
Hotel is very conveniently located for getting to Venice fast. Hotel is basic but is clean an well maintained. The fron desk personal is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are on a smaller side, but the bed is comfortable and the linens are very good quality. The bathroom is small and very basic and old, the plumbing fixtures should be updated. Towels are large, soft and comfortable. Breakfast could have a better variety, but has some juices, yogurt and hot bread. The hotel is walking distance to the rail station, has free car parking which makes it the perfect gateway for Venice. I wouldn’t recommend it for the long stays, but one or two nights is ok. Hotel has a very good pricing compare to staying at Venice itself. It is relatively easy to get anywhere including islands.

Building and space nice, beds a little hard but some may prefer that. Bath/shower very adequate. Location in a residential area but walk from train station to hotel not savory at night time. Limited lighting and no real sidewalk on main street to walk safely. Limited English but able to communicate needs. Air conditioning, once they turned on fans worked very well.

Calm and quiet residential neighborhood of Mestre , well placed near train station. We could walk and get a ten minute train ride into Venice then get out of the mad crush of Venice by coming back to Mestre. Found some nice restaurants within walking distance. The owner , Giuglio was so nice! Clean, comfortable and friendly. It has its own parking lot which we really appreciated.

Nice, clean 3-star property
This hotel is only about 3 blocks from the Mestre train station in a middle-class residential area. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice typical Italian breakfast in the morning, free wifi and only a short walk from several dining choices.

We had a comfortable stay in the hotel.. It is very conveniently located.. 5 min walking distance from Venezia Mestre train station.. The walk to the hotel however goes through a neighbourhood which is not very clean and didn't seem safe to walk at night..

Don't stay here.
My fiancé and I chose to stay at hotel Ambasciata, but in hindsight I wish we would have stayed elsewhere. Although it was conveniently located 5 min. walk from mestre station that was virtually the only plus about it. When we first arrived, the receptionist looked at us for a good 30 seconds in silence, even after I said hello, we have a reservation. I asked him why he was looking at me like that and he said nothing, and proceeded to ask if we were X party with reservations. After the awkward welcome we went to our room, and though the room was clean it had sheets and curtains from about 1970. It had 2 twin beds pulled apart, which was an easy fix, but the beds sunk low when we sat at the end to compose ourselves. Went from a sit to a squat real quick. Along with that, there was a large crack in the wall at the foot of the bed and marks as if someone threw their bad wheels first. Bathroom was decent but a little cramped. When we got ready to check out, which you have to do by 11pm if you need to leave before 8 the next day, the guy tried to charge me a petty 50 cents for the calls down to the reception I made when trying not to dial out, which I wasn't even successful in doing. The neighbourhood was average pretty quiet but with a group of youth and some dealers hanging around the path to the station looking real sus. I would get my money back if possible and spend it on the best wester across from the station if I'd have known.

Almost impossible to take a shower - stall is so tiny that it seems having being designed just for kids (not for adults) and dozens of mosquitoes kept us awake for a good part of the couple of nights we stayed there - will not come back to this hotel.

A bed close to the train/island.
Local weather was sunny and in the 80s however AC was not working/'turned off for the season'. Attempted to use fan feature of unit and it only blew hot air. Opening windows lets mosquitoes in. Thin walls & flat/tile surfaces everywhere seemed to hear everything going on in the hotel - conversations in room next door, showering, etc. As previously stated fan was not an option to drown out noise. Bed was hard, tiny shower but functional. Would recommend arriving during the day. Within walking distance of train station (which provides easy, fast & inexpensive access to the island) however tucked away off the beaten path in a residential area, poorly lit. Felt safe in hotel for the most part but unsure of neighborhood. Bed, running water, lights, convenient access to visit the island. Wifi decent.

The hotel is fairly close to Venice mestre station and a supermarket. The trip from this Venice mestre station to the main Venice s.l. station costs 1.5 euros and lasts 12 minutes. If you want to save money, I recommend this hotel.

Well priced hotel close to Venezia Mestre station
Good access to Venezia Santa Lucia. If you are buying a train ticket back to Mestre you need to enter Venezia Mestre in the train ticket machine. Staff at hotel friendly good parking, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, clean.

Efficient stay
An overnight stay needs security, good staff and cleanliness, comfortable bed and amenities. The hotel has it all. The rooms had small shower, but apart from that the stay was comfortable. It is close to mestre station, which makes it convenient to hop on a train and get to Venice, but it also had suspicious characters walking about. Did not feel insecure at anytime though. Overall it was a good stay.

Pleasant, clean, quiet hotel. Rooms are spacious by European standards with all the amenities you would expect in a business hotel. Staff is attentive and responsive. Breakfast is generous and delicious (great croissants, coffee, fruit, ....). Venice is just a few minutes away by train (close to train station). I would highly recommend this hotel.

We book the room 7 days earlier, some of the rooms are booked the same day when we arrive to the hotel - and we get the worst room in the hotel. The room have common wall with a room for breakfast and at 6,30 start a noise. We received no apology from the staff.

Great Hotel - Very Comfortable
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay in the Ambasciata, therefore would have no hesitation in recommending it. Our double room was spacious, comfortable and was kept clean and tidy during our stay, plus towels and bed linen were regularly changed. Hotel staff were very friendly and the receptionists were always willing to provide assistance. Unlike many *** hotels there was a good range of selection at breakfast. One minor problem was that the air conditioner was struggling to cope with the extremely high temperature, probably because it only came on when you were in the room, as it worked of the door entry card Don't be put off by the location of the hotel (Mestre# as the number 2 bus runs about every 10 minutes and takes about 15-20 minutes to get into Venice bus terminal. ACTV operate the public transport system, covering mainland buses plus the waterborne transport #vaporetto) around Venice. If you plan to stay two or three days purchase a "Venice ticket" as it offers unlimited travel. In fact buy the ticket at Marco Polo airport as you can use it on the ACTV number 15 bus, which travels between the airport and Mestre. The number 2 bus stop into Venice is outside Mestre railway station, but I suggest that you head for the stop prior to the station as it gets fairly busy. When you come out of the hotel turn right then take the first street on the left to the main road and the bus stop is down on the left about thirty metres.

No need to stay in expensive Venice
This hotel was great staff were extremely helpful and breakfast amazing. No need to stay in Venice as a 10 min bus trip lands you in Venice any time of the day up till midnight highly recommend this hotel very close to train station

A due passi dalla stazione
L’hotel è a poche centinaia di metri dalla stazione di Mestre, da cui si raggiunge Venezia in pochi minuti. Parcheggio interno a prezzi concorrenziali rispetto ai parcheggi dei dintorni. La stanza è comoda, la pecca più grande è la doccia di dimensioni molto ridotte

可愛いプチホテル
駅から、徒歩10分以内の住宅街にあるので、夜も静かで、良かったです。フロントの人もとても親切で、チェックイン、アウトもとてもスムーズです。部屋は、とても可愛く家庭的な雰囲気です。ただ、シャワーの時、水がなかなかひかず、シャワールームから水が溢れそうてした。
