We stayed in the villas and they were amazing in terms of size of room, the rooftoop view, the bed etc. Breakfast was disappointing though, the staff was not at all helpful and the buffet was not great - one would expect better for the price. Pool was dirty too.

The Rosell Boher Lodge has a lot of PROs and a lot of CONs. For the price point I’d expect a little more. However, you can’t beat the VIEWS and the beautiful property. I am an American who travels frequently to other countries and use reviews as a guide. Will be very honest with my observations. PROs = property is nestled in a remote security gated vineyard with beautiful, fabulous views of both Andes mountains and vineyards. It stunning. room was spacious, clean, and nice amenities. We were in main guesthouse. property had villas scattered around that looked nice too. Housekeeping did a good job. We ate two meals in restaurant. We liked lunched better with wine pairing about $160 for two. We did a wine tasting in Lodge’s Cava, beautiful wine cave! Breakfast buffet was free daily, many options. CONS = road to lodge is horrible, very Rocky. drivers picking you up at property might complain of damage to thier car on the long drive from main road. communication is primarily done with WhatsApp with staff . Not all front desk staff were friendly, smiled, or welcoming. They messed requests and acted as if it was our fault. My husband speaks fluent Spanish, so it was not translation issue, more a hospitality issue. I did not like being texted every day by WhatsApp, asking me to order dinner and order housekeeping daily. When on vacation I’m relaxing and did not like daily time constraints sent in WhatsApp. Lastly, room shower/tub was VERY dangerous to use! Photos provided.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the property and menus, especially the wine. The villa where we stayed had a jacuzzi on the roofvwith an excellent mountain view.

Top Notch Service, Gorgeous location
The Staff at Rosell Boher was amazing. We visited in Feb and it rarely gets rain. The night we arrived it stormed and we followed google directions (DO NOT come from the North Rte 7) and got stuck in the mud in the rental car. The hotel was amazing and the staff came out in the rain and mud and towed us 5km back to the hotel with the tractor! They made sure we had dinner and a glass of sparkling wine waiting when we arrived as well as we'd missed normal dinner time. Additionally, my wife is pregnant and very food sensitive. The kitchen was great making us things to accommodate that weren't even on the menu to make sure she had something to eat. Reception was awesome helping us book tours and lunches and the one time the wifi went out in the room, they had someone there in minutes to troubleshoot. Yes, the hotel is expensive, but you get what you pay for in gorgeous and comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and wonderful food. Serious the steak in the 3 course lunch is perfect. Oh, and of course, they make some pretty good wine as well. Location is great around a bunch of other vineyards which makes visiting easy. Cannot recommend enough. Just book a villa for a few days, spoil yourself for that special get away and enjoy.

Perfect place to escape!
My wife and I came here after spending 2 days in Mendoza city and it was the perfect escape. The private villa with a rooftop hot tub had majestic views of the Andes and the vineyard. Because we already had done a wine tour the previous day with stops at several vineyards, we were okay with staying put here - but we warned once you're here there isn't much else to do because it's well off the beaten path. The kitchen staff was kind and the chef served up great meals (especially the empanadas!). Truly a place to escape from the craziness of the city and just relax!

Beautiful lodge- substandard service
Sadly what we thought was going to be the highlight of our 12 day tour was by far the most disappointing. The hotel and location are absolutely beautiful which makes it difficult to understand why owners would not invest in more staff. Let’s start with the good: The view and villas themselves are absolutely amazing. You had a private hot tub on the rooftop of your villa and two fire pits to enjoy in your own private space. The sparkling wine and food offered were Scrumptious. The Sommelier- Pablo is very knowledgeable. On arrival they were able to make a reservation at one of the top restaurants in the area which was the highlight of our Mendoza trip. The not so good: We received no prior welcome email or any type of communication from the hotel prior to our check-in. When we arrived although everyone was friendly, there was zero mention that reception would be closed for three days!! what hotel of this caliber their reception especially a hotel charging close to $500 a night. Our room ran out of water twice And the generator took a while. Other small but important details: no corkscrew in our room although we had a full cellar and no coffee maker until we requested one. Overall, the unique location is what makes this place. Hopefully they invest in the quality of their service for future guests.

Beautiful and relaxing trip in Mendoza!
Excellent experience- lodge was beautiful with a view that is just unexplainably perfect! Pool, room, hot tub, dining - all Excellent!!! There was a minor power outage that occurred and the staff made sure to take care of everything in a timely manner to make sure we were comfortable. You’ll feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere driving to this lodge, but once you arrive, OMG! Amazing!

Not worth the price tag
We booked this for our honeymoon and although a bit more expensive, we thought that with all the great reviews it would be the highlight of the trip. It wasn't. The location is great and the staff are friendly but there was a real lack of organisation to the place that resulted in miscommunications and awkward interactions, poor service and that ultimately resulted in a reduced quality of guest experience. There was heavy rain event the night before we arrived and as such the pool was required to be drained, which is fine, we understand things happen. The problem is no acknowledgment of this was made to us by staff, it wasn't until the pool was empty for a full day and we asked what was happening that we were told. The pool remained empty for our 3 day stay and nothing further was said to us about it. When you are paying $500 a night for a hotel WITH a pool you would expect some sort of comment, or acknowledgment of this and it is just one of many breakdowns in communication that occurred on our stay that just shouldn't happen at a 4 star hotel. We stayed at the Park Hyatt in Mendoza city before this and the service there is head and shoulders above what is found at Rosell Boher. Maybe we got them on a bad week, and I hope so, but we wont be rushing back.

Tolle Unterkunft mit leider miserablem Service
Unsere Villa und die Lage in den Weinbergen war toll. Leider war der Service wirklich eine Katastrophe: im Restaurant beim Frühstück sehr unhöflich weil wir kein Spanisch sprechen, beim Abendessen konnten wir erst auf Nachfrage Getränke bestellen usw. Auch ab der Rezeption ist nichts gut organisiert: wir haben eine Frühstücksbox bestellt, da wir früh abreisen mussten. Der Herr beim checkout wusste nichts davon, erst nach viel hin und her hat er die Boxen. Zudem hat er uns zuerst noch den vollen Betrag in Rechnung stellen wollen, obwohl wir bereits über Hotels.com bezahlt hatten. Bei der Zusatzkonsumation hat er sich dann auch vertan und wir haben eine Rechnung nachgeschickt bekommen. Das darf bei einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse nicht passieren. Außerdem hatten wir an einem Morgen kein fließend Wasser. Das Problem wurde innerhalb von 2 Stunden nachdem wir es gemeldet haben behoben. Leider wurde uns bei diesem Vorfall nicht mitgeteilt wo wir zB in der Zwischenzeit auf die Toilette gehen können. Eine Entschuldigung oÄ haben wir nicht gehört. Alles in allem: Unterkunft top, Service absoluter Flop.

O Hotel é fantástico! Super reservado. As Villas são excelentes, super limpas, bem equipadas e confortáveis. A vista dos Andes é magnífica e você está cercado pelos vinhedos. Lo único que no funcionó correctamente fue el servicio de wifi, y lamentablemente tampoco contaba con fuerte señal de celular en la zona. El otro punto que se debe gestionar de antemano, es la logística, idealmente alquilar un auto para gozar de libertad para moverse por la zona, porque los remises o uber tardan alrededor de 40 min en llegar. Aparte de estas dos consideraciones, el lugar es maravilloso y la calidad humana del servicio, excelente.

Un lugar para volver mil veces
El lugar es increíble, paradisíaco, y la disposición de los empleados es óptima. Se siente la alegría y el cariño y familiaridad con la que atienden a cada uno de los huéspedes, y su compromiso por hacer de la estadía en el lodge, una experiencia inmejorable. La gastronomía y la visita a la cava junto a la degustación también son para destacar. Las vistas a la cordillera son increíbles y los paseos por las viñas son una caricia al alma. Solo mejoraría (si tuviera que encontrar algo) el colchón de la habitación. Sin embargo, para nosotros, los 4 días alojados allí fueron una experiencia inmejorable y sumamente gratificante. La desconexión y el reencuentro con la naturaleza, sumado a la calidez de su gente lo convierten en un deseo de volver y un lugar sumamente recomendable

Lo único que podría decir , es que tal vez tendrían que dar prioridad a los huéspedes para reservar los almuerzos .

É rústico mas a vista é incrível. Tem um restaurante bacana e a Sommelier Heidi é muito boa.
