What a way to start our trip in Sicily. The property and staff were fantastic. Far exceeded our expectations. Really loved our room with the rooftop terrace. Sunsets galore! Breakfasts were wonderful, and everyone super friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

A great location in the centre of Ortigia. We had a suite of rooms with balconies looking out onto the streets below. Breakfast was great, a good selection of cold meats, cheese, fruits, patries, yoghurts etc. We spent three nights here in early November and couldn't fault it.

We had a room with a rooftop balcony that was very large with a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Parking is offsite so if a lot of luggage it can be a challenge.

This was the best breakfast for variety on our tour of Sicily. The b&b was situated right in the middle of Ortigia, and convenient for everything. In addition, I was suffering from a toothache, and the lady on the desk went out of her way to call around and find a dentist.

Beautiful, boutique property in the heart of Ortigia. Couldn't have asked for a more convenient location to stay in Syracuse for a couple of days. Plus, amazing staff, beautiful decor, and delicious, hearty breakfast!

Excellent location, beautiful building. Fantastic room, great shower, great wi-fi, complimentary bottles of water and a kettle with a selection of tea bags in the room. Breakfast was amazing, a huge selection of food. Staff were all lovely and we had an amazing night's sleep, bed was so comfortable. Fabulous stay, loved it!!

Lovely room and bath in a beautiful old building on a pedestrian street. Close to the Duomo and a fashionable shopping street. Standing on the balcony early in the morning we felt as though we lived in Siracusa.

Location, location, LOCATION!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful location, creatively and tastefully decorated. We stayed 3 nites. Would return. Convenient and good restaurant downstairs with fair prices but limited menu. 20E per day valet parking available if you reserve ahead with the hotel. No parking onsite (public parking 15E & a 15 min. walk) but you are in the middle of everything... and the BEAUTIFUL Diana fountain is right there... at most, a 15 min. walk will get you to any other site in the old city. A 1/2 hr brisk walk gets you to the Archeological Park (where the ear of Dyionosis (sp?) and amphitheatres are located ) OR the Sanctuary. The limited desk hours are not a problem because they are there in time as scheduled in both the am and pm. There are also 3 phone numbers so we were always able to reach someone helpful and who spoke English. Large shower, good a/c, quiet to sleep, comfortable bedding, etc.

Room 102. We were not told of the building works opposite which meant we could not open our window or shutters for the whole stay. The kitchen staff kept us awake playing loud music until the early hours of the morning. We will not be back

The work of the building opposite is not our fault and we cannot intervene on this. The clients have already arrived biased on possible nighttime noises and we have proposed a silent room inside and with balcony but they have chosen the other room that they had booked although to their arrival we immediately proposed a free change. They also misrepresent the kitchen. Our coffee shop closes around midnight and not at dawn. Perhaps the nearby restaurant had a party that night.

A beautiful place right in the heart of Ortigia. We stayed in room 301 which was extremely spacious with a large sofa and a little balcony overlooking the bustling via Cavour. The room was beautifully decorated incorporating the ancient and modern. Great comfy beds, high quality linens, great shower. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

Don’s miss Siracuss, don’t miss Palazzo Gilistro
Palazzo Gilistro has a great location in central Ortigia, the original island of Siracusa. It’s within walking distance of everything on the island from Greek temple and fountain remains through baroque churches (one made from a Greek temple) to museums to excellent restaurants. The archeological museum and Greek theatre are a taxi ride away and the taxi stand is nearby. The proprietors are super friendly, helpful, and informative. The breakfast is substantial. The wifi is fast. In short, an excellent place to stay in a city that is itself a work of art.

A great little find!
The location couldn’t be better. You are no more than 10 minutes walk from anywhere on Ortigia. Got a great welcome went we arrived. Stayed in the top room which for a few euros more is well worth it, great balcony overlooking the coming and going on the street below and nice view to the west for sunset.

Une belle adresse à Syracuse
Situation idéale sur l’île pour cet hôtel dans un bâtiment typique. Nous avons été conseillé avant notre arrivée pour gérer l’arrivée et le parking. Nous avons eu le plaisir d’avoir une chambre équipée au dessus de nos espérances avec un billard , un sauna et une baignoire hydromassante. Si on rajoute une petite terrasse verdoyante et un excellent petit déjeuner, on peut dire que notre séjour a été parfait

Maravilloso hotel ubicado en el corazón de las isla. La habitación excelente muy linda y cómoda igual que los baños impecables. El Desayuno muy rico. Como está en la isla no se puede estacionar pero del hotel te recomiendan parking cercanos donde dejar el auto por un precio de 15 a 18 euros 24 horas. Maravilloso lo recomiendo 100%

Ótima localização, no coração da Ilha de Ortigia. Quarto amplo, limpo e camas confortáveis. Café da manhã incluso. Pouca variedade mas produtos frescos e de qualidade. Vale muito a pena.
