The summer residence Della Marchesina is a cosy and bright flat on the first floor of a villa located in the popular seaside area of Ognina, about 150m from the sea. The flat consists of a living room with kitchenette and dining area, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation enjoys every comfort such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi and has a large shared outdoor space with a furnished terrace and a beautiful garden. It is ideally located, a few steps from the beach and restaurants.
Ognina is a small hamlet located about 10 kilometres south of the historic centre of Syracuse. It is known for its beautiful beaches and the crystal clear sea that surrounds it. The locality is popular with both residents and tourists looking for a quiet and picturesque place to spend their summer holidays. Ognina offers a relaxing atmosphere and an enchanting natural environment with panoramic views of the coast and the sea.
Ognina is also known for its characteristic watchtower, called the Torre di Ognina. This tower was built in the 15th century as part of the island's coastal defence system. Today it is a historical and cultural landmark for the area.

About 5 km from Ognina is the beach of Fontane Bianche, characterised by fine, golden sand and clear, transparent water.
