The charm of Moonglade Cottage has been welcoming families and summer guests for the past 50 years. Location, amenities and the natural beauty of the surrounding area are what keeps these guests returning year after year.

Situated on the eastern shore of Suttons Bay, Moonglade boasts of spectacular sunsets framed by the twin birch trees from the deck off the master bedroom. The screened in porch with wicker furniture awaits you at days end to relax or simply hear the pristine blue water of Suttons Bay. The porch is a great place to take a nap or just read a great book while the midday sun hovers ahead. The cottage is equipped with engineered wood floors (no carpeting), granite/tile bath, compact yet efficient kitchen with all full size appliances with gas range, fridge and dishwasher, 2 bedrooms. both with queen beds, 2 TV's and all of the amenities of home.

The ambiance of the village of Suttons Bay lies just 2 miles away. Playing host to award winning restaurants, art galleries, and boutique shopping, Suttons Bay is another constant reminder of why guests travel to Leelanau County.

The heartbeat of Northwest Michigan is Traverse City located just 15 minutes away with world class restaurants, shopping and entertainment at nearby Interlochen Center for the Arts or Dennos Center. Be sure to take advantage of it all!

Beauty on the Bay

Our stay was great..we lucked out had good weather for April! Moonglade Cottage was very nice..clean..I didn’t cook much while there but could tell kitchen equipped very good for about anything! Located very close to Suttons Bay which is an amazing town..lots of good shopping & eating! Beds were very comfortable..places to store “stuff”! All in all very nice place ..we hope to return sometime during the summer!!!

Cozy, relaxing late fall weekend

I love staying at Moonglade - this is our third time here. The occasional fierceness of the bay is countered by comfort of the cottage. Wonderful location, clean, feel like you are home. Highly recommend.

Very nice property right on the water, completely updated and very clean with tons of amenities! We would definitely stay here again. There's a lot to do in Suttons bay and it's extremely close to the downtown and Leelanau trail.

So Relaxing

We loved our second stay at Moonglade Cottage. It is a beautiful, clean little cottage. The view of the sunset is amazing and love the screened in porch to read on for those rainy days. My husband and I always have a wonderful time here and the owner is quick to communicate if anything is needed.

My husband and I stayed here for a week—such a relaxing and special place. The views of Suttons Bay are absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the screened porch and sunsets and surrounding towns. Weekend iat Suttons Bay

The cottage is cute and right on the bay. Take stairs down to the retaining wall patio and dock. We loved that there was no sand to get off our feet!! Very peaceful this time of year (before school is out). Perfect place for us to enjoy some R&R between family wedding activities. Enjoyed our stay!

We had the best time spending a long weekend at the Moonglade Cottage. It felt like our home away from home which was what we were looking for. The accessibility to wineries, shops, grocery stores, and breweries made it perfect for our trip North. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
