Outside was a little worry but inside was amazing and cozy and the owner is wonderful. I know the outside needs work but time and care was put in each room and it’s coming along. I love the concrete walls it was super quiet and a home feeling. I would love to stay here again

The outside of the motel is very rundown and in a depressed area. You must call someone to check in. But the inside of the room was very nice, with all updated features including a wonderful mattress, so the condition inside was great.

We were in the area for a wedding and booked Sussex Motel for the night. Right away, I was impressed by Jackie's friendly and helpful welcoming. She was so kind and told me to call her anytime if we needed anything at all. The rooms were impeccably clean and well appointed. When we checked out the next day, Jackie bid us farewell and encouraged us to reach out to her directly next time we're in the area and need a nice place to stay. We will definitely do so!

We loved this motel! I’ve stayed in a hundred motels of ALL kinds and usually don’t expect much and from the outside I thought it’d be about average, but first the customer service at check in was amazing, and then when we opened our door I was actually shocked by how cute and clean the room was!! Such awesome decorating for a little motel. 10/10 recommend for the price and definitely will come back! Thank you!

Great value - surprisingly nice renovated room
Surprisingly updated and clean renovated motel. New mattresses, bedding and furniture. Full size fridge and microwave. Need privacy shades and better sealing doors that let the bright outdoor light in. Dog area not cleaned up so be careful where you step.
