The accommodation was fantastic as a backpackers hostel, but the initial description did not describe it as one. Towels weren’t provided and on-site parking wasn’t available. However, the staff were fantastic and really accommodating, and when finding out my partner and I weren’t from the area, they told us some fantastic hot spots and were really helpful with any request/query we had.

I have been charged twice for this. Not only was there problems even booking wotif had the wrong date and then was trying to tell me it was my fault) I then only had 1 room not 2. Money had been taken from my account and then I still had to pay again when I got there. Very bad business.

It was not good value relative to motels we've stayed at. For the same price other accommodation included tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridges & microwaves in room. There were also no hooks, cupboards or drawers for clothing.

Dolphins Beach House is excellent value for money. I stayed in a Double Room with ensuite with air con and TV. Access to a kitchen downstairs. The beach was only a 5 minute walk past a variety of cafes and boutique shops. Its in a lovely neighbourhood too. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The property is close to everything, shops and beaches. The property was clean. The bedding was good. Cons: The duvet was not cleaned and the bed sheet looked dirty.

They double booked my room and couldn’t offer me anything else suitable for my husband and my baby, as a shared bathroom option is not appropriate for a baby. This is most definitely a youth hostel so don’t make the mistake that it has motel facilities. At 7pm I had to find another accomodation provider and ended up paying twice the price. Would not recommend this place unfortunately- and I’m not happy with booking experience with wot it as well as the hostel staff told me it’s an over 18s venue and with if shouldn’t have booked me in there with a baby. Won’t be recommending wot if either- sorry to be blunt but it’s just the truth.

Very cute hostel. Split into little houses it's very sweet and very clean! There's washing lines as well so can save money drying your clothes! Also about 5 minute walk from the beach!

It is okay
Overall this place is okay. The staff was helpful and the setup of the place is good. However, its quite plain in comparison to other hostels. There are no extras like a bar, pool etc. Also, the bathrooms were just okay - could have used a handtowel or something to dry your hands and some hand soap. Its a cool looking place and it serves its purpose.
