Nice place
The place was nice and is clean. I knew it was a downstairs of a house. The owner does have a dog that barks from time to time in the evening and you can hear people above, but was not too much to handle. Overall was a nice place in a nice town.

Second Stay just as wonderful as the first one
We love staying with Shalu and Ajay. We now live in NC, but our family remains in MA and CT. Staying in Suffield is perfect for us. The apartment is beautiful and immaculate. The kitchen is well appointed and coffee and tea are included with the keurig. The bathroom is gorgeous with many included toiletries and big fluffy towels. The beds and living room are so comfortable! Suffield itself is a lovely small town with lots of shops, wonderful restaurants and entertainment nearby, while still allowing for peace and quiet while at the apartment. Included in the nearby shops is Cafe Barista, a charming coffee shop serving breakfast, lunch and gelato!!! It is owned by Shalu & Ajay and they kindly treated us to breakfast there one morning. So unexpected and delightful. We have a small dog, who travels very well and they allow her to stay with us which is an added bonus. We pretty much consider this lovely VRBO our home away from home when in the area to see family. If you have the opportunity to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Great location
Large, clean, apartment. Just 20 minutes (or less) to Mass Mutual, Casino, Airplane Museum, etc. On-site parking. Huge bathroom. Super comfy bed. We couldn't be happier with our decision to stay. Barista Cafe food and beverage was amazing too.

Shalu's place is bigger, brighter, and better than the pictures. Extremely clean. Super easy check-in. Great communication. Excellent appliances, coffees, and teas. Huge bathroom with lots of toiletries and towels. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this VRBO to be close to Six Flags Amusement Park. 7 minutes away. Check. In case it rained - home theater, pool table, my son has his own room to get away from parents - Check. House was beautiful. Lots of room. Never any feeling of being cramped. Nice patio to enjoy in the evening after being at park all day. Very modern. Nice updates. Everything you need available. Enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.

Great place in great location
The property was secure, clean, quiet, and private. It is an apartment at the bottom of the house but with a separate entrance and parking space. Nice view of a meadow. Private patio. Very well maintained. Plenty of appliances to choose from. The host answered my call promptly when I couldn't figure out the water faucet.

Hi Ryan, thank you so much for your feedback. The listing clearly says that this is an in-law apartment in our walkout lower level with independent entrance, private patio and backyard access. It is unusual for us to have a guest surprised by this.

Very clean and relaxing work stay - attentive hosts!
We were in for our family business as vendors at Big E. We arrived after dark and we were welcomed with lights on in the apartment (no stumbling in the dark looking for a light switch!). As we typically cook breakfasts and dinners outside the venue, finding what we needed easily in the well stocked kitchen was wonderful! We found the tastefully decorated and upgraded apartment incredibly clean, neat and organized. It was immediately apparent that every detail has been well thought out. with little extras as well. We hope to be able to return next year.

Comfortable, clean and Convenient
Excellent location, modern and clean property located on the lower floor (walk-out basement) of a single family home. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom spotless and movie projector/screen is a nice plus. Usage of a clean, easily accessible washer/dryer was also great. Home is in a quiet location but note that since this is a basement/lower level, there is footfall noise from above - including a barking dog. Other quirk is that the only bathroom is through one of the bedrooms so make sure that you're ok with people walking through at night to get to the toilet. Finally, while we loved having the big screen, we found the single person lounge/recliner chairs less comfortable than a sofa (and thus less conducive) for just hanging out as a family, reading, etc.

Weekend stay
Our party was two couples, the two of us and his Parents. The apartment was just perfect. They thought of every convenience item and provided it. Communication was great great. Somewhat rural area which is what we wanted. We grilled our dinner and had everything we needed. Master bedroom and huge full bathroom were especially nice. It would be even better if landlord could add a powder room. We would definately go back here.

We had an amazing experience. The attention to detail was beyond our expectations. The home theater, the pool table, living area, kitchen, etc., etc. This place has it all. And convenience….. Awesome Place to Relax
This was an absolute enjoyable place to stay. A beautiful home. It is a walk out basement underneath the owner's home. We never heard the owners above us during our 4 days there. You have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The TV rocks! The kitchen rocks! The bathroom rocks! The bedrooms rock! What else is there to say? The owner's response to any questions I had was quick. I will definitely look to stay here in the future. I highly recommend staying here.

We had a very nice stay. The property was clean and nicely kept, and a comfortable place to relax after each day's activities. The location was convenient for visiting numerous attractions in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including Six Flags, Basketball Hall of Fame, Mark Twain Home, etc. Hosts were kind and responsive. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. They even let us use an extra mattress after we discovered that we had forgotten ours at home. But if you are a light sleeper just note that this is a basement apartment and you can hear the people walking around upstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay for a week!
My family of 4 enjoyed our stay very much! The rental was clean, stocked with everything we needed, fabulous coffee bar, loved watching the Olympics on the big projection screen TV, and enjoyed playing ping pong and pool to pass the time. It was conveniently located to restaurants, groceries and the softball complex (the reason we were there). The owners were awesome to work with. I highly recommend this beautiful rental.

We had the hardest time locating a place to stay that was convenient to the airport and Amherst. Shalu's place was perfect in terms of location. The space was great, was super clean and she was so responsive to all of our questions. Would definitely stay again.

Great place! Great location for 6Flags!
Place was perfect for me and my boys for our layover between tournaments. Ping pong table was a hit and big backyard to play in. Beds were comfy, very nice bathroom and living room was set up great. Clean and modern. Only thing to be prepared for is it is a basement (though it doesn't feel like it with all of the natural light), traffic above can be disruptive for light sleepers. I sleep like a rock, so it was ok for me. I was more concerned with us being too loud for our hosts! Thank you for hosting us!

My family enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It’s a really nice setup with lots of extras and feels very clean and modern. Big bathroom with nice shower. Love the separate entrance with our own parking spot. Very well taken care of with snacks, water coffee etc. Nice big yard for activities if needed. A lovely home/apartment in a quaint little town.
Enjoyed the stay. It’s a very nice home with a clean, spacious, well-equipped apartment. We loved the ping-pong, pool and giant screen television. It’s located in the beautiful town of Suffield. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Great stay
Super clean and organized. Great owner and communication was prompt. There were just two things I didn’t really like- 1: the stovetop only worked if there was water or content inside the pan, but when I put eggs and cheese, it didn’t turn on because it was “too light”. 2- The showers drainer wasn’t working as good, and the water took a long time to go down. Other than that, we had a great stay! Thank you!

Perfect family getaway
The property was perfect for our 4 person family. We were mostly staying to go to Six Flags, and getting to the park is super easy from here. The space was beautiful, with a number of touches that made it convenient and homey (like a large drying rack for towels, small blankets for sitting on the couch to enjoy the big screen.) The coffee station is wonderful. We loved staying here and can't wait to come back again.
