Comfortable & convenient with the comforts of home
From the warm welcome the moment we arrived to the tips for how to make the most of our drive as we were leaving, everything was top notch. Clean, cozy and comfortable room with views of lava, ocean and swans. Delicious and filling breakfast each morning with friendly hosts ready to chat if you're interested, and they have fun facts about Iceland's history, language and people to share. We loved having a great location with everything we needed and also getting to know a bit more about this country.

Heba and her husband Kristian are great hosts. The atmosphere in their house is magical. Our room was very comfortable and furnished with some special furniture pieces. The location by the ocean is great. The Breakfast was very tasty, cheese, hummus, home baked bread, jellies, skyr, coffee and tea. Heba is also a pottery artist, so we got a chance to visit her studio and purchased a few pieces of her art. She also took us to a local women's coop with a big assortment of art (wool products, jewelery etc). We hope to be back sooner then later and stay at Heba's again.

We stayed here during the first part of our trip around Southern Iceland and absolutely loved it! Heba is truly lovely, she greeted us and gave us a tour of the house with stories about Iceland traditions and her family. We stayed in the golden room which was breathtaking! The balcony overlooks an incredible view of the ocean and lava rocks. The beds were super comfy, the most comfortable of all the places we stayed! And the breakfast, amazing!! Heba an her husband essential made us a feast of meats, cheeses, homemade fresh breads (that she made the night before), jams, coffee, juices! Everything was exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations! Highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse!

We stayed with Heba and Christian for a night in February when the ice was just starting to thaw around the Icelandic south coast. The guesthouse is immaculate and full of lovely artwork and antiquities. The breakfast was extremely tasty with fresh homemade breads, smoked lamb, homemade houmous and Skyr yoghurt. Nearby, I can also recommend a visit to the ancient fisherman's hut (about 100m away) and the excellent Fjorubordid langoustine restaurant (about 500m away) which has a few art places nearby. Overall, an exceptional night's stay in a very nice seaside villageM

Get to know the real Iceland...
Heba and her husband are very welcoming, they clearly love what they are going. They are informative and helpful, they provide suggestions, share history of the island. Cottage is beautifully located right on the ocean and views from the two rooms facing the ocean are incredible not to mention the balcony. It has lots of charm. Home made breakfast is included, beds are very comfortable, WiFi is strong. If each room had its own bathroom ( yes you share very specious bathroom with 4 rooms) this place would be worth 10 stars. We strongly recommend.

A gracious B&B host. Heba made us feel comfortable as we shared the rooms with some other travelers and she cooked an amazing breakfast. So close to a really great restaurant and a wonderful little Icelandic experience I will remember.

My husband, our adult son, and I stayed one night here on a road trip through south Iceland and the Golden Circle. If you're looking to experience how native residents in Iceland live, here is your chance. The hosts Heba and Christian provide comfortable accommodations including a traditional Icelandic breakfast, and Heba provides a treasure trove of Icelandic history and helpful hints for visiting the country. Dear Heba showed us around the lovely guesthouse and pointed out special family tapestries and photos to give us a sense of their family history. They are proud Icelanders. Delightful experience - felt like home
The overall experience was wonderful as Heba, Kristjan and Odin made us feel at home. The location is beautifully situated and was easy to find. We got a feel for local Iceland and loved talking with Heba and Kristjan. They checked winter road reports for us and shared POIs in the area. Heba baked two types of bread for our breakfast and the hummus, smoked lamb and other items were delicious as well. A real gem on the south coast.

Lovely friendly hosts on the South Coast
Heba was so welcoming and willing to share about the history of her home, its artwork, and all of the surrounding area. She made sure we had dinner reservations and advised us on the menu. After a lovely breakfast, she and her husband helped us plan the rest of the day before we had to leave.

Fantastic warm welcome and great local restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was amazing - homemade breads, local smoked lamb and great coffee really stood out. Very Warm and Helpful Owners
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and their thoughtfulness and attentiveness was outstanding. They helped us with suggestions of extra places to visit on our proposed excursions, suggestions for eating etc etc.. Breakfast was a delight with Icelandic specialities such as slices of cured lamb, Skyr and local cheese. Bread, jam and hummus were homemade. Only negative point - there is 1 bathroom for 4 bedrooms and whilst there is a separate loo downstairs there is no soundproofing between it and the breakfast room.

Excellent hospitality
We were greeted at the door by Odinn, the canine welcoming committee, and there couldn't have been a more welcoming sight for dog lovers missing their own pups while on vacation. After some pats for the friendly pup, Heba and Kristjan showed us around. The place was very clean and homey. We were the only ones staying at the guest house that night so it was very private. We stayed for one night and had to leave very early to get ahead of a storm that was going to close the roads. Heba and Kristian prepared an awesome breakfast for us to take on the road. They really went above and beyond to make sure we were all set for our journey east. Wish we had more time here and hope to come back someday as Guesthouse Heba was truly excellent!

Stunning House and location on the coast.
What a fabulously welcoming guesthouse. Both the owners could not have been more accommodating, the house itself was very nicely decorated with artwork and furniture. The views from the rooms of the coast and the Northern lights were stunning. Breakfast was a huge affair with piles of home made bread, smoked lamb slices and chickpea hummus. We were delighted by all aspects of our stay with Heba and be all the efforts to make us feel at home and comfortable in their beautiful house

I stayed one night of a car tour of Iceland. By far this was my best stay. I highly recommend getting off the beaten path and head for this B&B. WHATS NOT TO LIKE, the smell of home made bread, the sound of the distant surf and the pleasant friendliness of Heba and Christian. The local restaurant, Fjorubordid, was excellent. It was priced typically Icelandic, however the quality was actually commensurate with what was provided. I only wished that it was warmer at the time of my stay so as to be able to spend sometime on the outside balcony.

WOW!
Guesthouse Heba is in a class by itself. We felt so welcome and so comfortable during our two nights there that we started to imagine we had actually discovered long lost relatives who just happen to live in a cozy cottage tucked at the base of a seawall in a small village an hour's drive from Reykjavik. Our room was beautifully appointed and offered up a view of the sea that made us want to stay a week or two. It's unpretentious and lavish all at once. Breakfast is fabulous--a range of freshly baked breads and smoked lamb and Icelandic cheese and yogurt and muesli and hot coffee and tea, and it is served in the dining room on a beautifully set table complete with candle light. The hosts Heba and Kristjan are charming and deeply knowledgable about the history and culture of Iceland and of the village itself which is loaded with charm as well and well worth a visit. This Guesthouse is an exquisitely well run business, a business that is also a labor of love--a rare combination these days. Our short stay there was truly restorative.

A nice little gem.
Welcoming owners. Beautiful guesthouse and spotless rooms. Try to book the seafront rooms; there are 2 sea view rooms, you won't be disappointed. Really enjoyed that place. Fresh home made bread for brekkie. Stayed there for a pitstop.

Very comfortable and spacious room. One shared bathroom was not ideal, but was kept clean. Breakfast was great, but would have loved to have been offered something hot to eat (i.e. scrambled egg, oatmeal). Heba and her husband are very pleasant and welcoming.

Heba was extremely accommodating and friendly, offered to help with restaurant reservations and provided some great recommendations for sights in the area. Breakfast was included and was a fantastic spread of yogurt, cheese, cucumbers, meat, FRESH baked bread and hummus made by Heba. The house was beautiful and rooms were clean and nice. Bathroom was nice but is shared between 4 rooms and can lead to some long delays in the morning where 8 people are trying to shower.
