For the high price you would expect a shower that works. It was a slow drip. We only discovered this in the am when we had to shower and then check out so even if we had called maintenance— which we shouldn’t have to do for this price— there was no time. No room service either. I give this hotel a zero.

First off the staff was AMAZING from check in to check out. 3 girls at check in were so great with my family. Lady with dual citizenship beyond friendly and helpful! Lady with mask was super nice and help with parking for making us “wait”. It was not long at all in my opinion despite a tired kid. The other kind lady hooked us up with a special off the menu from the kitchen for the kids! Bartender Mo also took great care of us. Pizza is as advertised and fantastic! Rooms and facilities were great. Can’t say enough about this place. We will be back next time through! Thank you!

I travel to Stamford regularly and have stayed at several hotels, including Hampton Inn, Hilton, Hyatt Regency and Marriott. The Stamford was as good as any of them with an easier location

We were just for 1 night but the property needs a renovation, walls and glass were damage, also I have been in many properties around nyc, and they never charge me for early check in btw usually is at 3 pm I arrived 1 hour before.

The Stanford is very conveniently located. The rooms are big, quiet and clean. However, the lady at the front desk was not welcoming at all when we arrived. She did her job and gave us the information we needed but did not offer a smile or any welcome. Later in the evening I went down to ask a question, there was different woman, and she was pretty much the same--made me feel like I was wasting her time. Lastly, the parking fee was $20. For a very average hotel. This seems a lot to me, and people should be made aware of that when they are booking. So, the Stanford was OK, but not somewhere I would go again.

I will talk with my staff about making sure to be more welcoming to everyone. As for the parking, under amenities (parking and transportation) it does make the guest aware there is a 20 fee per day for parking. I do hope you will give us another shot in the future and let us show you this is not the norm for us. Once again, my apologies.

Staff seemed a bit unhappy. Nothing really bad but just matter of fact. I would totally stay here again though. Wash down the entrance walkway to spruce up first impressions. Very clean. Lots of amenities.

The hotel ambience is appealing, and the facilities are well kept. Enjoyed seeing groups using the conference rooms, and the room was in pristine condition, with a super comfortable bed!!

I couldn’t tell if the hotel was undergoing renovations or something, but half the floor was a yellowish theme color and the other half was gray and the doors looked old and needed repair. I felt itchy the entire time after sitting in the chair in the room. I’m figuring the seat hasn’t had a good cleaning in a while. Could definitely lay be in better shape. Also the website says they have breakfast and we were told they don’t.

The property is old, the tub also didn’t drain the water well so that when I stood in the shower to clean the water would cover my feet around my ankles. The manager was very accommodating and allowed me to check in early

The hotel lobby and common areas were very nice and updated. The beds in the room were very high and the bathroom was dated. The hallways were also losing wall paper off of the walls and also very dated. The checkin took approximate 20 mins because we booked through Expedia.

Not what we expected. Pool out of order, no breakfast on weekdays, pay for parking. Run down rooms, peeling paint and wallpaper. Chipped furniture. Bed sunken on middle. Bar food was frozen and microwaved for $$$$. We would not go back .
