When we showed up it was just like the website. It was old lovely and probably haunted. It was great. Anyone that complains about how old etc this hotel is didn’t do any research. Loved it!!!!

The staff is amazing! Customer service is superb, cute hotel, great location to so many restaurants and attractions. Parking is decent, if you find a spot next to the hotel. Room was perfect. I would absolutely return.

We found this gem! The Cordova Inn. A historic hotel (1920's) nestled in defiance, among the new and modern St. Pete structures. This stay was extra special. Among its charm and quaint atmosphere, we were transported to old Florida. Do not expect the amenities of a big hotel chain, a plus for me! Instead, seat at its wooden porch, enjoy the breeze that flows through it arches, and rock the chair, while your thoughts travel in time, to "how it was". The rooms are very clean, good beds/pillows and soft cotton white sheets (pristine) 👌. Our batroom was tiny but the shower was great; plenty of towels & toiletries provided. There's no elevator in the property (3 floors) This might be a deal breaker for some; we were fine with it. Help is provided with the luggage. If this is an inconvenience, request 1st floor accomodations, so worth it! It is located in a quiet area but only steps away from St Pete's entertainment area of restaurants, bars and busy scene. I so loved staying here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It did not have an elevator. A/C window unit in room noisy. Claw foot tub without rubber bath mat or grab bars. I bought a mat. Additional resort fee seemed excessive. No parking or even reduced rate for guests.

I cant say enough positive things about this property. The staff was amazing. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. It is an old hotel woth a lot of charm. The front desk guy goes above and beyond for every customer. The bar staff makes amazi g drinks and it is right downtown and 2 or 3 blocks from the pier. We will definitely be back

Thus stay was a terrible experience. The 1st room smelled musty and damp. The sink didn’t have any water. We moved to another room and the shower had to practice pulled out of the wall to get any water and it was freezing- never warmed up. There was no in at the reception desk and the bartender close by ignored us. The write up said there was breakfast included- there was not!! Slav who worked there was very friendly and helpful once he showed up. The security guard at 20 at night was also very helpful. Would not return or recommend this location. Stayed one night and had to leave!

I enjoyed the friendly staff, the ceiling fan, and the natural light our room provided. I wished the bathroom was bigger but understood as a historic inn that might not be possible.

It's an old property so it has a lot of that kind of charm yet it was updated enough to work. It's kind of noisy downtown but we ran the fan on the A/C and it acted as white noise. We would book there again.

This hotel was cute. Only booked it because it was cheap. Lots of construction nearby. Note staff was nice but they could use more. Room was fine. Furniture was stained and there were holes in the walls. Overall, it was fine

Loved our stay over the weekend! The staff were friendly and recommended great choices for dining options especially late night food! We enjoyed grabbing a cocktail from the bar and sitting on the front porch! We were there to enjoy a festival at Vinoy Park and it was an easy 15 min walk through a safe atmosphere. They are adding on so there is construction but that didnt bother us one bit. Love the old world charm of the hotel and cant wait to stay here again in the future!

This is a difficult review. First, the staff was excellent. They went out of he way to be helpful. BUT, the hotel itself is shabby. The room was small, the bathroom was very small. No elevator. One of the staffers took our luggage up two flights of narrow, steep stairs, and I (age 73) carried it all down when we left. In the room, there was nowhere to unpack clothes, no dresser, no closet. The location of the hotel on 2nd Ave is great (we highly recommend the Craft Kafe for breakfast and coffee) and is close to several museums, lots of restaurants and The Pier. One additional warning: there is major construction going on as the hotel is building a new wing, so by 7 a.m. or so you can expect noise. Because the staff was so good, we would consider staying there again once the new wing comes online.

Quirky 100 year old hotel with claw foot tubs and rocking chairs in the front porch. Exceptionally friendly staff, an easy walk to the pier and parking garage nearby.

I was in St. Petersburg for a wedding on what turned out to be a very busy weekend. The hotel was conveniently located and very affordable. My main issue was noise, both from the window air conditioner and the street noise. My room was at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of noise. I would recommend a room towards the back of the hotel.

It was in a great location and the staff was very nice. The hotel itself is very run down, mattress was lumpy and noisy, sink was cracked, bathroom was very tiny.

The Cordova Inn is centrally located to a lot of fun things to do in Downtown St. Pete. Being 103 years old, we do believe the hotel is doing as expected. Nationally stamped in 2004, we are limited to the things we can do. However, we are sad to hear about the crack in the sink and the uncomfortable bed. We hope you were able to report these things to our staff to be looked into right away. Thank you again for staying with us.

As long as you understand that this is a historic building & will not likely present with modern comforts, this is an amazing hotel; small & quaint. The location is SO great w/many shops & restaurants within just a few blocks & very close to the newly developed St Pete’s pier which has a small sandy beach. There is live music in most directions & it’s a vibrant area of St. Petersburg. The hotel lobby & bar itself is quite a vibe; quaint & full of energy. I found the parking quite convenient (you get an electronic key card for a garage around the corner). Even on a day of a huge community event that blocked off streets & the park adjacent to the hotel, we still found room to park in the garage. Just know, this is a historic building. There are stairs to climb (no elevator), a lot of the fixtures and windows appear original. If you’re in a room that faces the street, it’s pretty noisy. You can hear the activity in the lobby and bar and guests were enjoying the beautiful porch late into the evening and we could hear all the conversations. The street traffic can be noisy as well. We did not mind this and I assume it would be more quiet towards the middle and the back of the hotel. The rooms need some TLC but they are cute. The beds are very comfortable! The bathrooms are small/functional, shower is precarious; a piped shower in a small footed bathtub that was challenging to climb in & out of. But great service, perfect location, quaint experience, I would definitely return!

The Cordova Inn is a historic hotel, 3 floors, staff friendly, accommodations unique. Room was clean. Be aware that there are 3 different bathroom styles. We had a claw foot tub with a shower and it was difficult to get in and out of the tub. Small bathroom. Other bathrooms either have a walkin shower or shorter tub. Also, construction next door, which was loud starting about 7am.

Not a Friendly hotel
Service was so so. I felt that we were being looked down on because we did not dress up and because we had a motorcycle. Also, I was woken up at 1:30am due to construction and couldn't go back to sleep. We cut our stay short because of these reasons.

Beautiful hotel. Bit of building work going on, so not much of a view, but the room was lovely, the hotel lobby area is really nice and it's in a nice area...short walk to the pier area. Only criticism is that the bath in the room was very difficult to get out of. It needs a mat or something. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I ever visit the area again, I will be looking at this hotel.

Great location in historic hotel
Cordova Inn was a great experience for us with spacious rooms, historic charm and super location within walking distance to St. Pete Pier. Staff was very friendly, parking convenient and the local bar added life to the lobby and front porch.

As so many others mentioned happened to them, I was told parking was complimentary. It was NOT. When I called to question the $68 charge on my bill, the manager HUNG UP ON ME. Yeh, left a real bad taste in my mouth. What a shame, cuz I liked the place. Oh, and sink didn’t really work.

I found the Hotel policy of the front desk closing at 6pm and opening at 10 am deplorable. Those are the only hours guests are not around. If you need help, and I did, after 6pm you are out of luck. Th hotel provides a phone number with the ominous warning if you call after hours make sure it is a real emergency. Guess what? Guests at almost every other hotel in the world have a front desk in which to ask simple questions of but not at Cordova, They want to only hear from you if it was an emergency. Complying with their request I did not have internet during my stay. Complicating my trip immensely. I will not stay there again.

Robert, we are very sorry to hear about your stay, and for this, we do apologize. Our hours of operation are listed on the booking site used to make your reservation. We cannot staff 24 hours as our property is very small with an even smaller staff. The security line is for emergencies such as lockouts or helping our guests with late arrival information. Thankfully all of our staff is very knowledgeable about the hotel and our procedures. We do provide every guest with a Welcome letter with other helpful tips and tricks to the hotel including our wifi information. We'd like to hear more from you.
