Everything was good except one thing and that is the lock on the door wouldn’t lock from the inside at all so I spent the two nights there with an unlocked door

Don’t even bother trying their breakfast. Poor choice options and the little they offer is truly nasty. The place looks nice on the outside and has cool outdoor amenities. Inside, however, the standard is very low.

We were going to be late arriving, and they stayed up waiting for us to arrive at Midnight!! Staff was very friendly and helpful for our entire stay!! We plan to return again to visit the area and will stay here again!! Wonderful place to stay, and we highly recommend it!

It is an average hotel for a good price. Breakfast was okay. Our room was very spacious. Which suited our needs. Would stay again. The staff were excellent

We got a room with a jacuzzi tub and it had nothing to stop the drain with so we had to use a washcloth. The breakfast was awful, no eggs, no meat. Nothing that my husband and I could eat, we ended up having to get something and pay extra for breakfast. The staff was nice and the room was nice besides the drain issue. Would def. stay there again.

My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The property is pretty large with some fun things to do outside. The hotel isnt far from memorial park either.

Room not cleaned properly. Air condition too noise and we had to ask for extra blankets. The bedside light switch was broken. Breakfast had only cereal, muffin and pancakes/walffles. It was a continent breakfast without eggs. Staff was nice.

The room didn't have heat tge TV didn't work. Had a king bed room they moved us to a small room with a queen bed. Charged us the same price. Charged us more fees for a pet.

Not even slightly friendly checking in. We checked in at about 630 and went to the room and furniture was stacked on the bed. We go back to the desk and they had no idea. Took a long time to set the room up and the carpets were wet and still wet the next morning. The room has a weird window to the hall and the curtain doesn't cover it the whole way so I was uncomfortable the whole time. The jetted tub was nice and the only reason we didn't request another room. There was a dead stink bug in the bathtub. The bed was not very comfortable and the remote didn't work. The front lobby area is very pretty and the grounds are nice.

Great value but crumby beds and low shower head
The staff at the reception desk was great. The room was clean and the pool was very warm. The price point was perfect. The only complaints would be that the bed was like sleeping on a trampoline - it was very hard and bouncy and the shower head was far too low. My child is 5'6" and it was even too low for them. I had to squat to shower.

No heat in the room when we checked in. It took more than half hour the heat finally came.. no blankets in the room, it took long time to bring them to the room after 3 phone calls. Breakfast, no tea bags provided, The shower curtain is too long and soaked in the dirty water when you take a shower.

Appears to be new Magt, not as nice as it was
When we arrived the lighting was very poor around the entrance. There are lights at the entry but they appear to be out. They did accommodate us with a ground floor room; however, it was one that adjoined to another room and the person over there kept trying to open the door and made us uncomfortable. The toilet seat was broken and when you sat down you tilted to one side. There were places for several hangers but only two actual bottom parts for hanging items. When we laid down on the bed we fell into the middle because the springs were broken. There was a group of ladies blaring music in the pool area and make it feel very unwelcoming to be there with them. The lobby smelled of incense and gave me a headache. At 2am we could not take it any longer, we could not sleep and just packed up and left.

Although we booked a 2 bedroom suite, we were given a regular room with two beds. When we told the front desk we received the wrong room, they said it wasn't their fault and that Hotels.com switched the room. However our confirmation was for the 2 bedroom suite as we booked. They also said they didn't have any of the type of room we selected available. After a while, they did find a 2 bedroom suite available but had to send another staff member to make sure it was the correct room. Although we got the correct type of room eventually, it was as if we were not being told the truth about anything at check in. We will not be booking another visit at this hotel in the future.

We wanted to check in early (2:45pm) to go hiking in the afternoon. There was a party checking in we waited for. Twenty minutes later another lady came from up front and asked if she could help. I told her I’d like to check in if my room was available. She replied “check in is at 4”. We returned to check in around 9:00pm. I got our room (170). When we got in our room it had a horrible strong smell like deisele fuel or an electrical fire. I called the office, complained about the horrible smell and asked for a different room stating I’m afraid our clothes will stink and it’s giving my wife a headache already. Front desk replied, “we’re sorry all rooms are full “. I asked for a refund and I was told cancellation had to be made 24 hours in advance. I told them I know that but didn’t know how bad the room would be. I booked this hotel because of its good reviews. Don’t believe the reviews! I’m

It was a nice place, a new comfortable chair for our room to sit & read - or relax would be great! A larger bathroom sink would also be a plus … but it worked. The staff was very friendly & helpful.

Great for a pitstop
This is an affordable, safe, and friendly place to sleep if you're needing to get off the road for a night. I was not there long, and not much during daylight hours, so my experience was limited. It is likely that summer weather could bring a pleasant view of Lake Huron, with easy access to surrounding tourist attractions. It was warm, and clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Price was right.

We always stay here because they have shuttle service to the casino Good price and have a nice breakfast in fall.
