Perfect family getaway!
Staying at this home was absolutely what we wanted and more! The communication with the owner beforehand was excellent! Anytime I had a question, Christian was very prompt and gave me wonderful suggestions for restaurants and things to do, and was one of the best owners we’ve ever dealt with. He never was bothered by all the questions we had since we were visiting Canada for the first time. The home was truly beautiful. It came more stocked with all kinds of extras than any place we’ve ever rented. The pool table and dartboard were used every night and the WiFi worked perfectly! It was extremely clean and the location was perfect for all the places we visited while we were there. The checkin and checkout process could not have been easier. I highly recommend this beautiful home and hope that we can return one day! Our first trip to Canada was truly memorable! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful house!
We had a very relaxing trip and the house is beautiful. The pool table was lots of fun, too! The only downside for us was that it was on a busy road, which we aren’t used to. The backyard is too steep to really play on, but the views are beautiful. There are lots of grocery stores and restaurants just a couple of minutes away (by car). There is also a wonderful bakery called Con Gusto just down the road with fresh breads and pastries that is only a two minute walk away! Our kids also enjoyed the trampoline park that was just a short drive away. We had a great time!

a wonderful hub close to everything Niagra
This awesome 3 storey, 3 bedroom (with 3 king sized beds) and 3 washrooms, a BBQ, professional billiards table, ample parking and huge main floor (kitchen w island and big kitchenette table, large living room), was--a 10 min drive to Port Dalhousie--excellent Italian dining and waterfront, a 12 min drive to Niagara Falls which ROCKED!, and 30 min to N.O.T.L.. This is an absolutely wonderful hub for a winter holiday that is only 1 1/2 h from T.O.!!! The owner is helpful and very generous, and every imaginable item for a normal home, especially in the kitchen, is available. Go for it!

WINTER GETAWAY
The Riverview cottage was the perfect spot for visiting Niagara Falls and Toronto. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. Checkin and checkout was easy. Since it was winter we were able to see the river. Having breakfast as we watched the squirrels and birds playing outside the dining rooms was such fun. The Riverview cottage was an ideal location for our visit to Niagara Falls and Toronto. The cottage was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. Checking in and out was hassle-free. Despite the winter season, we were able to catch a glimpse of the river. The highlight of our stay was having breakfast while watching the squirrels and birds playing outside the dining room. It was such a delightful experience.

Nice large house
Conveniently located near shopping places. The house is large and opened, very nice view as well. The bedrooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. The road is a bit busy as it is one of the main road, but inside it is not too noisy.

Beautiful property, great location
Booked for our annual girls weekend. Turned out to be a great choice. Close to wine country, Merritt Trail is just steps away and we had a great evening playing pool and darts. The property is well cared for, very clean and well stocked.

Spacious, clean - mostly well stocked. Needed more towels, especially hand towels and facecloths. Riverview is an exaggeration - you get small glimpses of the river through the trees from the second floor. Needs a mirror in the back second floor bedroom. Needs more decor.

It's a real shame you didn't reach out to us during your stay, otherwise we would have advised you to check the "storage pantry" in the basement as it is literally fully stacked with fresh towels of all sizes ranging from hand towels to beach towels. It's completely stacked with towels, you can barely close the door. Riverview is not an exaggeration as displayed in our listing pictures. Depending on the time of the year some of the trees carry leaves and make it more difficult to see the river. Thank you for your subjective décor feedback, we will take that into consideration. Thanks again for staying with us.

Nice house, good location
This house provided a great place for us to spend the week while in town to watch the Canadian Henley Regatta. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The backyard was a highlight-- a deck overlooking a wooded slope down to the river. Great for birdwatching! There were also walking trails nearby. Location was convenient to Port Dalahousie, downtown St. Catherine's and Niagra region wineries. Great communication with the host prior to arriving and during our stay. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Nice house and great pool table.

This house is beautiful inside and out, open floor plan to see everyone and enjoy there company. The entertainment room with deck was a bonus. The rooms were spacious and well lit. Less than 2 miles away were you shopping centers, easy in, easy out. 20 minute ride to the falls, local wineries and breweries within 10 minutes of the house. Christian was quick with his responses with the questions we had. The house rules were on the kitchen island, the bbq rules easy to find in the entertainment room. A must stay if your considering this property.

Great House

St. Catherine’s Getaway
The main reason we chose this property was it’s high reviews for cleanliness and it’s location for our activities. It did not disappoint. It smelled fresh and clean when we walked in and it was VERY clean. We were a family of four and had lots of room! It has a beautiful view out back and it almost feels like you are in a treehouse. We also enjoyed the pool table downstairs and played with our kids in the evenings after we were done with our daily activities. This is the perfect location for visiting the Falls and Toronto. There are many good restaurants close by in St. Catharine’s and in Niagra-On-the-Lake. We were impressed with the many wineries we drove by. It was not quite the right time to tour wineries when we were there, but it would be a great location for it. Christian is a very responsive host. He always responded promptly to my questions. We only had one minor issue with a blind in the bedroom and he came the very next day to take care of it. There are lots of little “extras” in the kitchen and although we did very little cooking, it was very well appointed with any utensil, pot, pan or whatever you might need to cook a meal. The only “tiny” negative I would mention is that it is on a bit of a “noisy” street in the am with people going to work/school if you are trying to sleep in. It likely wouldn’t bother most people, but we are not used to that. Thank you, Christian! We enjoyed our time there!

Great little getaway!
We wanted a little getaway to Niagara Falls and came across this gem of a property. Everything was clean and the kitchen and dining area were absolutely stunning with a beautiful view overlooking the green scape. We love to cook so this was just perfect for us. We would DEFINITELY book with Christian again as he was a fantastic host; answering all our questions almost immediately. It was clean, spacious, and all around a fantastic place to stay.

An exceptional vacation home
The house is modern, extremely clean, well maintained, comfortable, and completely equipped. We did not stay long enough to take advantage of all the amenities, but they were available and in good shape. All of the beds were very comfortable. a few days of relaxation
We enjoyed our stay at this house. We were impressed with its cleanliness. There are lots of stores nearby - everything we needed for a few quiet days. The kitchen was well-equipped, although a newer non-stick pan would have been nice. Loved the pool table! Great view of the ravine overlooking the river. The home was comfortable and perfect for cooking, dining in, watching movies, and relaxing! Could've had better instructions on getting the TV to stream regular channels. Other than that, a great place!

Fabulous Rental
I absolutely loved this rental. From the time we stepped inside it felt like home. Airy, light with lots of windows overlooking tree tops and the river. Everything was spotless and ready for you to drop your bags and begin your vacation. It was close to shopping and highways to get to local cities. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a home away from home rental. Christian was also easy to communicate with and he was always quick to respond. Thanks for making everything so simple and easy!

Great place in a great location

Wedding Weekend
My husband, three sons and I stayed at the Riverview Cottage for the weekend of my eldest son's wedding. The house was perfect for us. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Because of the wedding events, we did not spend much time at the property but it was very convenient to the Niagara wine region and many shops and restaurants. Thanks to Christian for being so responsive and for the great Chinese food recommendation. We loved it!

Checked all the boxes
We rented Christian’s property for 3 nights and I have nothing but praises! The property itself was gorgeous. Nice front yard and stairs leading down to the foresty area and the creek. It was well managed, clean, and equipped with the essentials and more such as a pool table, darts, and more. It’s situated right by the main road and all the attractions (ex. Clifton Hills, Port Dalhousie, Niagara Falls, Outlet Collection) 10-15 minutes away, not to mention it’s close by to the QEW and so it was convenient to pick up take-out and groceries. Christian was extremely helpful and making sure we had everything we need and replied super fast. You can tell he takes great pride in his property!!

Refreshing getaway
The backyard was an artist spot inspiration. You come to the house like you are in a normal residential area and find you've entered a private forest from the view at the rear of the house. Great place. Will definitely visit in the near future!

Fantastic location for this spacious flat
This property was really great, close to wineries, great location for going anywhere. We enjoyed the walking trail, nearby bakery and the morning sun off the river. Great view with large bright windows.
I loved the view and the brightness of the property. It was peaceful and clean and had all of the amenities I needed. It was comfortable and close to everything. I was looking for a change of scenery during this time and this offered a nice oasis to enjoy nature.
