Knicks ranch cabin in the woods

This 3 Bedroom 2 Bath cabin is fully upgraded with natural and organic elements from head to toe! Perfect for outdoor escapes and is a hunters dream - featuring an amazing stone wood burning fireplace, large sitting area, fully equipped kitchen and amazing views from the large decks on either side of the cabin. For an additional cost we also have snow tube rentals and fishing equipment rentals for those looking to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Our on-call day or night staff is always there to help ensure that you have a hassle free stay that exceeds your expectations.

4WD may be required to access the cabin when snow is present

*This property does have Wi-Fi services, however it is limited due to the cabins rural location in the mountains and can be impacted by the weather. Please plan your trip based on slower speeds.*

Great mountain getaway
Beautiful property surrounded by pines. Spacious cabin home and very clean. We felt comfortable right away. Loved the decks on both sides of the home....we were out there often. Great place for a relaxing fall break. Just a short walk up the road and we could enjoy the fall colors this time of year too!

Upstairs carpet stained, ladys had to do some minor house cleaning to inside of refrigerator .Outdoor trash container not big enough for trash generated by four people. Otherwise definitely we would rent again .

Knicks Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at the Knicks cabin! There was a stocked kitchen with salt and pepper and oil, plenty of drinking glasses and silverware and knives, clean fridge and rooms, and a peaceful neighborhood. We ended up buying some soft soap bottles for the bathrooms since they only had one bar of hand soap provided for each one. They had paper towels and dish soap too but the sponge was a little old. There were plenty of clean towels and clean linens for the beds. We did have to ask for more trash bags at the rental office for our week long stay, but they provided extra ones very promptly. The rental company was also good about emptying the outside trash can regularly so we didn’t have any critter problems with our trash. All in all we had a great vacation and would likely come back! Thanks!

Poor management
Check-in read “anytime after 3”. Should have read “Anytime between 3 and 5”. After a 5 hour drive we arrived at 5:30 and office staff had left for day. Real estate agent sharing building helped us find envelope with instructions. Directions left we’re terrible ( eg turn left after .06 miles should have been .6 miles). Finally found cabin and dog poop everywhere outside, including where we parked. Cabin smelled like camp fire and fine soot on surfaces. Extra sheets looked like a child put them away. Went next day at 9 am ( when cabin butler said they opened) to check on “free” kayak rentals but no one there. Waited 30 minutes and gave up. Cabin ok. Main problem is with management company, cleaning service, and previous guest and their dog.
