The hotel and staff were great. The only complaint was breakfast. It wasn’t a breakfast. It was boxed cereals, breads with cheap small pastries and yogurt. Hard boiled eggs were the only protein. Old bruised apples were the defeated fruit. Sad reason to wake up for breakfast.
Nicely rehabbed rooms, good beds and linens (awful pillows though), nice bathrooms, nice tv and workspace. Free Wi-Fi was decent, would have appreciated a free breakfast
The staff was warm and accommodating, especially since we ended up with some special consideration! I had to spend a day at UV Medical Center for treatment of a condition so required an extra day's stay. I was accommodated very nicely!

While our room was quite clean, there were a lot of things wrong with it. The door did not shut properly, and had to be reframed (you could see inside the room as the door was not properly framed, and you had to really slam the door to shut it). The TV remote did not work. The telephone in the room also did not work.

Overall, I did like this hotel. The remodel and rebrand was good. The staff at checkin was great and the room was exactly what I needed. The stairwell near my room smelled pretty bad, but it stayed in the stairwell. It was on the side of the building where it seemed like staff may be taking their breaks, so maybe some smoke/odor drifted into the stairwell.

Property was neat and clean and recently updated. Breakfast was grab and go and decent. We are not big breakfast eaters so it as fine just for something to hold us over coffee and a quick bite. The room was clean and spacious. One in our party is in a wheelchair and the room was spacious and accessible as promised in room description. Hotel staff was friendly and always present at front desk and even texted to make sure our stay was pleasant. We were close to UVM and attended accepted student day. Close to shopping and restaurants and on main highway but safe and quiet in the evenings. Good parking and well lit area. 10/10 recommend and we already plan to stay here again next time we are in town.

Handy location, nice room, terrific concierge who helped me find the key of my rental car when it slipped between the seat and center console. He also recommended a great place for dinner and provided a coupon for a discount!

Positive: Recently renovated, very nice/new look. Parking and easy access. University and center city are within walking distance. Close to major Interstate.
Negative: Mostly unique to this particular timeframe, not general comments, and included fire alarm evacuation and temporary loss of wifi. No food in hotel minor issue but food available within walking distance.

Our trip was great going to visit my daughter while in college. It is a great friendly place to stay and close to campus.it is our fo to place everytime we go visit her.
