Vacation stay
We stayed here 3 nights in May 2019 on vacation. Excellent service. We needed ground floor since we both use canes. Adequate breakfast. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the hot water for the shower on my last morning so my shower was cold. Water in sink was hot. Room was small but adequate. We used the extra twin bed for our luggage. The owner brought us a table so we could use our laptop. WIFI was excellent. It would be easier to find the turn if the sign were repainted. Everything was clean and well supplied. Very quiet. We would stay there again.

You do need a car to get to the B & B but the airport is only 15 minutes away. The location was nice and quiet. We had dinner there one night. The food and service was excellent. It did help to know some Italian but they do speak other languages. I would recommend Su Leunaxiu.

This is a nice place to stay in the rural countryside about 15 minutes north of Cagliari. The farm is mostly an olive grove, but also has a fruit orchard, a greenhouse full of vegetables and herbs, grape arbors, and two friendly donkeys! Everything grown on the farm is served at their long, huge, delicious dinners on the terrace (which you must book ahead). Breakfast is simple and typical of agriturismi I have visited. The room also was simple but clean and comfortable -- and wifi worked fine, which is not always true in the Italian countryside. The proprietor is funny and charming and happily showed us around the farm and introduced us to the donkeys, dogs and cats. There is a working-class town named Dolianova nearby with a shockingly good restaurant -- Il Nostro Mondo -- where it seemed like everyone in town was eating on Friday night. It is about a 40 minute drive through the countryside to visit the UNESCO site at Su Nuraxi Barumini. And the city of Cagliari with its wonderful Museo Archeologico Nazionale and its beautiful beach at Poetto was 15-20 minutes away. This place isn't fancy or luxurious, so don't expect a precious B&B like you might in the US. It is absolutely Sardinian, which was fine with us. The one caveat is that despite the fact that the gate is just a few meters down a well-maintained dirt road, it is NOT easy to find, particularly in the dark. They really need to put a much larger sign on the highway so you can see where to turn off.

Peaceful farm retreat.
Some might not like the mattress. I did -it's hardish, not fluffy soft. Real local tomatoes at breakfast. You really have to keep your wits about you to find the turnoff, even after spotting the blue sign with an arrow, especially if arriving after dark. Water must be "hard" because towells need softener, but they were large, unlike some other tiny-towell ridden establishments.

Su Leunaxiu - A beautiful taste of sardinia
Having hired a motorbike in cagliari it took my girlfriend and i a little while to find the main road ss 387 north towards Dolianova, however on arrival we met Guiseppe, the 'grandfather' of the house and were immediately treated to the best go'dam cake and coffee we have ever tasted. Just for reference, google maps says turn left at SS13 (a number they use to indicate how far down the road you are) its actually SS14 and there is a big blue sign that says Su Leunaxiu on the left. Duh. Your room is small but on suite and very lovely, plenty of blankets, big shower, loads of towels, toilet paper, little magazine and a little tv that you won't use (all shows in italian anyway, and dubbed from english, urgh). Outside is a small porch you can sit and sip wine (you will most likely be drinking loads of that) and enjoy the view whilst reading that book you have been putting off for ages. Guiseppes family is really nice and his daughter speaks enough English to help out if you need it. The house is actually a farm/hotel - meaning the family living there grow all their own vegetables used for cooking. Cheese, wine and meet is traded with other local farms. Dinner is available on request and an awesome 6 course meal with wine only cost a few extra (keep in mind this may change)! Breakfast is also available for a few extra euros, and Jesus Cheesecake Christo is it recommended (for the oranges alone, and they have pudding with breakfast, seriously it was this long airy cake thing - AMazing). You are treated to a tour of the farm, filled with cacti and giant awesome plants, vegetables and cats and dogs and other bits and bobs. You can taste some of the stuff he grows, (especially the tomatoes those bad boys go down like apples in the end). They have a large restaurant area specifically built for clients, and a large common area outside with a benches and a fire place in the middle. Although Guiseppe only speaks a little bit of English, you can tell he has had English speaking customers before, his gesticulations and mannerisms are easy to understand. However I recommend picking up a decent guidebook for some handy phrases, italian is quite phonetic so its not hard to learn. Give it a go, italians are more, lets say forgiving, then the French. It took us on average 20 mins to get into Cagliari central after learning the road, which to be honest was just pretty much straight forward on SS 387. Getting back could be tricky because for some reason the Italians LOVE using one way roads, easy enough though. If you hire a motorbike, keep in mind that italians aren't the best drivers in the world and will try and pass you on the inside and outside of your lane. If you're from the UK, aim your wheel to fit the track of the left wheel of the car in front, that should make sure they pass you they would another car. Your welcome. The bike hire company we used was CarBusTec in Cagliari and they are also recommended. They didn't rip us off, gave us 100 km a day limit and spoke English. We drove all the way west to a mountain peak, the name of which escapes me but the view was crazy. Cruising on the bike in the sun with a babe on the back and the wind gently blowing the smell of the sea in your face has to be the best feeling I have every had. Because the island is quite smal;l 4 days with 400 km will literally take you anywhere you want to go and back. Make sure you get an up to date map as there has been major road work lately laying down new motorways. Guiseppe will recommend cafe's or restaurants if you want to go out one night (but seriously just eat his cooking its SO good, he did this thing with mushrooms and parmesan that blew my go'dam mind). All in all an amazing holiday at an amazing place with (you guessed it) amazing people. Just go there.

Séjour de deux nuits dans ce joli gîte. Chambre vraiment très sympathique, le « jardin » avec ânes, arbre fruitier, air de jeux, vraiment le paradis pour les enfants. Petit déjeuné très complet, nous avons mangé au restaurant et vraiment 10/10 c’était un délice. Nous avons passé un super séjour.

Der Eigentümer ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich um alles persönlich. Unser Zimmer war groß und sauber. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aus unserer Sicht. Die Lage erfordert auf jeden Fall ein Auto, da die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen ist (der nächste größere Ort ist 5 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Dolianova, wo es Restaurants und Supermärkte gibt). Cagliari ist mit dem Auto je nach Verkehrslage in 15 bis 20 Minuten zu erreichen.

Posto davvero molto carino. Personale gentile e ambiente familiare. Abbiamo dormito e cenato. Prodotti buoni e fatti in casa. Unica pecca la colazione, perché era solo fatta da dolci e, per i miei gusti avrei preferito il salato, ma comunque molto buona(con marmellate fatte da loro)

La struttura è molto pulita, il personale gentile e il cibo ottimo e abbondante a prezzi buonissimi. Immerso nel verde, un po' isolato ma se disponete di una macchina sia cagliari che i paesi nei dintorni sono facilmente raggiungibili. Unica pecca è che spesso mancava l'acqua calda.

Séjour très agréable
Très bon accueil de Giusepe malgré notre arrivée tardive. Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix, salé et sucré. Environnement calme et reposant. Matelas à ressort un peu trop ferme à notre goût et lit qui grinçait un peu, mais rien de bien grave. Je recommande.

Superbe chambre. Très calme. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais très convivial. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Un petit café nous a été offert à l'arrivée. Le soir nous avons dîné sur place un succulent repas sarde pour 20 euros par personne. Je le recommande à tous. 2 bouteilles d'eau nous sont offertes à l'arrivée. Chambre très propre. Visite des cultures du propriétaire. La wifi fonctionne parfaitement.

Todo bastante bien. Lo único que no nos gustó es que no servían suficientes sobres de gel y champú (la llegar nos dieron 3 sobres de champú y 3 de gel para 2 personas, y a los 3 días nos dieron sólo 2 sobres de champú y 2 de gel), ya que estuvimos 7 días y éramos 2 personas, por lo que no creemos que sea suficiente. Por el resto todo muy bien.

Qualité-prix imbattable.
Un accueil très sympathique, une chambre nettoyée tout les deux jours,des parasols, un frigo et des jouets de plage à disposition, le repas du soir qui peut être pris sur place et qui fera le bonheur des gourmands et des gros mangeurs (tous les produits viennent de la ferme), bref, une semaine sympa car l'établissement est bien situé pour visiter le sud de l'île. Moi qui suis hyper difficile , je le recommande !

ottima esperienza
abbiamo scelto questo agriturismo perché rispondeva anche a delle nostre specifiche necessità: 20 minuti dall'aereoporto, pronti per la partenza in aereo per il ritorno; a metà strada da tutte le località che volevamo vedere, infatti dista circa 50 minuti sia dalle spiagge della Costa Rei e Villasimius sia da Pula e Chia; costi ragionevoli e possibilità di cenare al ritorno dalle spiagge. We chose this farm because it also responded to our specific needs: 20 minutes from the airport, ready for departure; Halfway from all the places we wanted to see, in fact it is about 50 minutes from the beaches of Costa Rei and Villasimius both from Pula and Chia; Reasonable costs and possibility to dine on return from the beaches. Everything perfect: very helpful and kind managers, great dinners with matching prices, nice outdoor spaces, very clean accommodation with housekeeping during the stay, rich and good breakfast. Recommended!

B&B tranquillo ed Agriturismo eccellente
Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo.Pulito, situato in posizione tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo comodo per raggiungere le più belle spiagge del sud Sardegna..Una nota di plauso va alla cucina! Abbiamo mangiato Divinamente! Consigliato!!

Belle chambre et diner au top, prix dérisoire.
Le rapport qualité prix est le meilleur que nous n'ayons jamais trouvé en Sardaigne; les chambres sont propres et correctement équipées, le patio est agréable. Il manque un peu de luminosité, petites fenêtres et large avant toit. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et excellent. Le repas du soir est tout simplement parfait, recommandé pour les bons mangeurs et les épicuriens (20€) mais limité à 4 personnes. Tous les produits sont issus de l'exploitation agricole. Le panneau au bord de la route n'est pas très visible, c'est juste en face de la bifurcation de Soléminis. Compter 15/20 minutes pour l'aéroport par voies rapides.

Simple mais propre et pas cher.
Une nuit seulement. Un quart d'heure en voiture de l'aéroport de Cagliari. Très bon accueil, propriétaire très arrangeant. Le moins : l'endroit est assez isolé et il faut de 30mn à 45mn pour se rendre au centre de Cagliari. Très bon prix.

l'accueil est vraiment bien.nous avons pu apprécier le repas sarde qui a étél le meilleur de notre voyage.Bravo à cette famille sarde qui ne manque pas de travail avec son exploitation et qui reste disponible pour ses clients.L'équipement est bien.un bémol: l'accès n'est pas facile mais les coordonnées GPS sont très précises
