Eventually, we will have good wifi in our area, but please know, it is readily available at most restaurants and the state lodge on the main road, which are all nearby. Thank you for your great review. If you are a grill master you may want to bring your favorite grill but we do provide a simple grill that works for most guests. We recently repaved our driveway entrance with concrete, and it is 13 feet wide. The entrance has been large enough to accommodate a full-size concrete truck, 70 foot bucket truck, our propane delivery tanker, as well as a Lowe's delivery van, so we are sorry you found it off-putting. Thank you for your great review! All of us are very familiar with those acorns! Despite pruning the heck out of the trees we still know it is fall by the swirling leaves and dropping nuts. As for the steps, yes, you are exactly right, can't get to the top of our ridge without them. But the benefit is, guests get the feeling they are are living in a tree house, with all the amenities of home. We also appreciate you giving a shout out to our local businesses. As for the road, it is true, we are on top of a ridge and while paved, our driveway can be a challenge if you have a large trailer. For guests considering bringing a trailer, please let us know, and we can often times make arrangements with our neighbor across the street to allow trailer parking in their driveway or sometimes parking for trailers is available at the bottom of the main drive. Wow. And Wow again. You most certainly received a copy of the rental agreement when you booked, as does everyone who books through VRBO. We also emailed the agreement to you along with directions and several other helpful items when you booked. Then, we sent you another email reminder a week before. Then, we sent you a text reminder that we needed your rental agreement the morning you were supposed to check in, since we still hadn't heard from you. When you finally responded, at 730 pm the night of your check in, it was you who was rude because you demanded to be let in without signing the rental agreement, which we cannot do. We explained that nicely to you. We offered ways to help you get the agreement signed quickly. When you finally bother to look, you found the agreement and texted it back, while I was driving on the highway to a meeting. I asked you to wait a few minutes so I could park and text you back, which I promptly did. For the record, we do not get paid until your visit is over, furthermore, there is no "agreement" until you actually sign and return the rental agreement. Bottomline, your review is unjustified, and it is most unfortunate that your lack of planning caused this situation. We stand by our actions, and hope any future guests reading this appreciate that we have requirements we must also fulfill as part of our inclusion on VRBO.
