Pros are that the property was easy to access with a convenient car park. It also has nice views and a unique mid century style.
Con is that I booked a double room and was given a twin. For two (seperate) days there was no hot water in the room. The first day without hot water the hotel staff came to the room to check just confirmed no hot water and left without fixing the problem. The second time they didn’t believe us and simply told us to wait longer for the water to heat up.
The room felt dated, it had nowhere to put clothe other than a rail, and the extractor fan didn’t work in the bathroom.
The nail in the coffin is that there’s no iron in the room. Instead you have to pay for a service which charges 14 euros per item. Entirely a hidden fee, especially since you can’t just borrow the iron/steamer and have to pay.
Overall the hotel is cheaper than others in Sesimbra and maybe the quality of service reflects this. But with issues in the booking, a staff that is not helpful, à gym with machines that may break at any time, I would not recommend this hotel.
