NO to Seoul winter time if you like sleeping cool
This is a criticism for pretty much all Seoul hotels. The Aventree is a modern building. Well insulated, but Koreans have a mandated heating system that is around 28-29c and thicker blankets. The AC is centrally turned off, and windows are locked or semi locked to a partial open. This makes for miserable nights trying to get a cool enough room to sleep. Unfortunately, staff can do nothing about it as it is alternately explained as “government or senior management” mandate where the fuses are disabled for energy saving in the colder months. This means Oct - April in Korea. Not just this hop, this is 3rd time in a row and same explanation. Makes sleeping during visits a difficult task.

전반적으로 좋았어요
프론트 데스크에 도착했을때 좀 이른 시간이라 체크아웃 안 될줄 알았는데 편의 봐주셔서 일찍 들어가서 쉴수 있어서 좋았습니다. 방 크기도 적당하고 낮에 햇살도 잘들어오고 기본 물품도 갖춰져 있었구요. 그런데 침대 옆에 나이트스탠드 하나 정도 있었으면 좋을뻔 했네요. 방 불을 끄면 완전 암흑이고 켜면 아주 밝고 둘중 하나뿐인 상황이라 친구가 잠들었어도 저는 깨어있는 동안 뭘 할려고해도 할수가 없는게 조금 답답했어요.
